Hard to believe it's getting that close, after booking in November 2009.
The other day, I changed my facebook profile pic to that same pic. Great reminder everytime I log into FB.

It is a HOT week here in CT!! Loving, the fact that our patio is all done finally all finished and we can hang out by the pool this week..

It is beyond hot here this week, since Saturday. I can't see out of my windows because they are all covered in condensation LOL. We have heat index of 112-120 this week. It's more humid here than in the rainforest this week. Wish I had water to sit by, my pond is NOT what I'd want to jump in to cool off, I'll leave that to fish, frogs and turtles.

So true Randy! I can't wait to see all my old friends and then meet all of the new people here that I feel like I have been getting to know so well.

I think I am looking forward to everything EXCEPT the whole boarding process!

Jen I totally agree with you! I'm looking forward to putting faces to all the names on this thread. Although I must admit that's a lot of names to try and remember!

I've kinda stopped thinking about the boarding process got my head in the sand on that one!

Morning Everyone!

I love all the information about the excursions everyone shared...thanks for all the input. I am still investigating all the options. DH will laugh because he will read about it here that I am even thinking about options!

The heat is HORRIBLE in Minnesota right now. Erika is right that it is more tropical then the rain forests this week and the instant you step outside you feel wet. This morning it is storming horribly at the cabin but it is suppose to end and then get up to temperatures that feel like 115°! Ben and I will be enjoying some puzzles, movies and maybe a trip to a local pottery store.

The countdown is WONDERFUL as usual....can't believe how close it finally is.

I guess this heat wave this week is getting all of us ready for what to expect when we walk outside MCO for the first time in August.

Yup! We'll just be ducking into as many indoor places as possible

We're headed down the shore the following weekend. I personally can't stand the Jersey shore - just my personal tastes/preferences. But you do make a good point - it'll be much cooler there than the streets of NYC!

Where will you be eating ? Suggestions for us ? ( We'll visit NYC for a couple of days AFTER the cruise )

HERE we have been around 95°F over the past days ... Sometimes I wish I could have some freezing airconditioning - as they use to have in Florida
though I am NOT a fan of air conditioning ...

I was wondering did we finalise any info for the meet at the poly?

What do you think and where- I'm not sure of that resort as I only know where ohanas' is! Is there a bar via pool/ beach ?

WOW !! Time seems to fly NOW !!!
DGH and I will be leaving Italy in less than 2 weeks - and it looks like I have still SO MUCH to do ... in the house AND for the cruise !!!

NO cruise documents : Fedex people say there has been a "delivery exception " ?!!! ( Even if they explained this in Italian , I cannot understand ...we have been speaking with about 6 different "area manager" , each of them gives a new ... colorful version of the problem ...
Tomorrow ... maybe ... one of their men will come and VERIFY our identity ??!! and ... maybe ... bring and deliver our parcel ... )

I have various PACKING LISTS ............. but I haven't yet decided what suitcases we'll bring ... and how many carry-on / back-pack / bags ...
Surely I need to be ... more organised !!! and stop to dream online !!!!!!!!!!!

WDW meet : August 13 , SATURDAY , at the Poly , early afternoon !!!
IMHO we could meet in the main LOBBY , Great ceremonial house , where there are the beautiful FALLING WATERS and TROPICAL PLANTS !! about 3:30 / 4:00 pm !!
(Comfy seats and lovely airconditioning too )

There are many bars - also by the pool - we could decide where to head when we meet , if there are children etc.

Here are the families who said would like to meet :

13 th is great for us -we have it down as a chill day - all we have that day is a 5.20 ADR for Ohana @ the poly An afternoon meet there would be fab.

The Poly on the 13th might be a good choice... we are doing the early seating show that night....
