Happy Monday to you too Kristin!

We are headed out for a nice morning run soon. Today will be a bit of cleaning, a bit of working on schoolwork (from home thankfully), a bit of working on vacation plans and then DS's choir sings at the Twins baseball game tonight. It should be a good time with some nice weather!

Tell Ben GOOD LUCK TONIGHT~~!! Hopefully, you can tape it for us to see!!

Please tell Emily thank you for talking to the girls yesterday!! They loved it!!

Hi all! Spent a wonderful day in NYC yesterday - though we did see some "interesting" sights yesterday .

DS (Tim) and I leave for Florida tonight. Not a Disney trip - it's a school (FBLA) conference. Staying near the Orlando Convention Center, but will be making a pilgrimage to WDW to pick up a few gifts for those not coming along for this trip!! Probably going to do Universal and possibly Sea World. It's amazing the ticket prices that are offered through convention services - HUGE discounts.

Hi Kristin! Keira's owes your girls an email response - just haven't had time to sit with her!! Sometime later today.

Hope Bruce is doin' better after that accident. When I first read your post (I scan them quickly sometimes when I'm behind!!), I thought he was actually "hit" by some woman - like beaten by hand or something I was like "why would someone hit him"?!

The girls have something they made that they want to send to Kiera. PM us your address or email it to the girls.....

Bruce is a bit sore today I told him he should not have gone to boot-camp this morning but he still went. LOL!! Now that would have been funny if some women beat him!!LOL!!

Emily LOVED talking to the girls! She said they are so easy to talk to because they just keep talking! I laughed because Emily NEVER talks on the phone. I can't even think of the last time I saw her talk on the phone because all she ever does is text. It is good for her to have a longer conversation so tell the girls to call again some time!

We are right behind you!

I've been thinking a lot recently about how we are going to pack w/ our trip chopped into tiny pieces.

I am pretty sure I have it figured out in a way that we don't have to load and unload ALL of the luggage every day! Almost all of it will be coming on the cruise w/ us and for WL but we won't need the big stuff all the other days.

I will have to do laundry on the ship though, I'm thinking the last day or so.

I'm getting SO much more excited. We are paying off our final payment for our WDW portion of the trip this week and this weekend I'm getting out the Disney box and sorting through what we will and will not bring.

Due to our crazy schedule, I will need to have us mostly packed AND the kids ready for school (dd starts 5th grade the day after we return and ds the day after that...for KINDERGARTEN!) by the end of July...TWO weeks before we leave!

I don't know how I will get it all done...but I will!

I hope your VB waitlist comes through!! Can you get a cash reservation there??

We have a reservation there already, but it is for 2 Garden view Inn Rooms, since they only sleep 4 and we are a 5 we need two rooms, the problem is they have adjoining rooms and not connecting rooms so DH and I have to divide ourselves up between the 2. We are hoping for a 1 bedroom so we are all together and have the washer/dryer right in the room. Since I will have to do laundry before we sail.

Did you by chance give up a Studio at BCV? We are currently booked for BLT but are waitlisted for BCV for just one night post cruise.

Not a studio, a 1 bedroom.

Hi all,

I just got back from visiting my mil at the hospital - thankfully she made it through the operation and is now starting on the long road to recovery. Dave and I really appreciate all the prayers and messages of support. She is getting a little stronger each day and today they are trying to let her sip some water. Each day she is getting less tubes and they are able to remove them. Thank you so much, I am hopeful we can make our vacation - I would like to say thank you in person.

Hope you are well - I got to ask- how do the packing cubes work? We don't have them here in the uk .

I'm looking forward to school finishing for the summer ( fri 22nd July or in other words -24 days)

You all are BAD influences!!! I ordered packing cubes last night. This will put hubby over the edge (he'll bawk at the waste of money). I really don't think I need them, but I was sold on the pictures/testimonials. I also like the idea of keeping them zipped in the drawers (deter bed bugs, etc???). That's my thought & I'm sticking to it. BTW... don't tell hubby I ordered or how much they are, K?

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered so far.


The initial plan is to meet at 2-2.30pm on the ship on deck 13 forward in the family zone. This could be part of a general Dis group meet and greet if anyone is thinking of organizing one.
At 2.30p sharp we head off to tour the cabins which hopefully should be done in about an hour or so.
The selection of cabins will be narrowed down to those that are somewhat signficantly different from each other, so that we are not seeing duplicates.

Those who are showing, would be the Disers who volunteered their cabins to viewed.

Those who are touring will be the tourists travelling to view the volunteered cabins.

Those who want to do both will come along on the tour to see the other cabins and when we reach their cabin hopefully they will open the door so we can see theirs also.


The lifeboat drill takes place at 4pm.


Hopefully as long as we don't linger too long during our tour we should be done to give everyone enough time to meet back at their cabins to pick up the rest of their family for 4pm.

The sailaway party takes place at 4.30pm. You still have time to enjoy yourself.

As you will see, you can customize the shirts - adding text to the front or back. And you can select whatever color/style/sizes you need.
To get adult sizes, you need to select a different style. There's a hyperlink next to option 2 "Choose your style and color" that says "see all." If you click on it, it will bring up all of the styles - mens, womens, etc. The logo will be applied to whatever style you choose.
For the CC5K shirts, I used the Comic Pro font.

It's been a horrible roller coaster week full of up and downs.

It's funny after seeing her today I got a little excited and thought about our holiday- I then felt very guilty as it's still early days

How's life in Milan - have you finished all the exams- when is school out?

The weather has been unusually hot the last two days , in the high 80's lovely but u have to remember it's not normally like this in uk and no one has any air conditioners

I can surely understand what difficult worrying days you two have had !! and I think it is perfectly "normal" that , after all those sad days , you felt you need some happy thoughts re the cruise !!
Do NOT feel guilty at all !

Weather here is being HOTTER than in Florida !!!!
My poor students are ... melting !!! ( NO airconditioning in Italy as well !!! ).
We still have a few days to complete the State exams !!!

We are on DECK 6 !!!
