Speaking of t-shirts.... anyone order t-shirts with our DIS cruise logo on it yet and if so what color shirts did you order?

We have just booked with Disney our excursion in Nassau :
NASSAU FORTS AND JUNKANOO DISCOVERY


It sounds like fun : we both are into local history & traditions and I love the idea of trying the traditional instruments of the junkanoo parade !!!
and also their beautiful "costumes" !!

The part of the traditional costume I like the best are the Easton baseball batting gloves. Sorry, couldn't resist.

Marco is still unsure about his t-shirt with our cruise logo on it ...
HE always wears GRUMPY tshirts - easy to spot !!!!!

I went on myself and ordered - just for me - ( here in Italy ) a DARK BLUE cotton "sweater" with our cruise logo on the back
( The one with the added GRUMPY in the left corner of course !!! ),
it has arrived a few days ago : BEAUTIFUL !!!

IMHO our cruise logo looks much more "significant" on a dark color ...

Are you having t-shirts for everyone in the family ?

OUR CABIN TOUR

The initial plan is
to meet at 2-2.30pm on the ship on deck 13 forward in the family zone.[/INDENT]This could be part of a general Dis group meet and greet if anyone is thinking of organizing one.

At 2.30p sharp we head off to tour the cabins which hopefully should be done in about an hour.


Those who are showing, would be the Disers who volunteered their cabins to viewed.
Those who are touring will be the tourists travelling to view the volunteered cabins.
Those who want to do both will come along on the tour to see the other cabins and when we reach their cabin hopefully they will open the door so we can see theirs also.

The lifeboat drill takes place at 4pm.

The sailaway party takes place at 4.30pm. You still have time to enjoy yourself.

Hopefully as long as we don't linger too long during our tour we should be done to give everyone enough time to meet back at their cabins to pick up the rest of their family for 4pm.

As you will see, you can customize the shirts - adding text to the front or back. And you can select whatever color/style/sizes you need.
To get adult sizes, you need to select a different style. There's a hyperlink next to option 2 "Choose your style and color" that says "see all." If you click on it, it will bring up all of the styles - mens, womens, etc. The logo will be applied to whatever style you choose.
For the CC5K shirts, I used the Comic Pro font.

Laura - I am so sorry you are working such long days and I have to say how sorry I am that these young students are having to put in long days as well. I find all these new testing standards that we are all putting on the children to be sad in a way. I know that we have to be sure they are ready to succeed in life but in other ways I just feel like we need to allow them time to be kids and not feel so much stress.

I know here, my DD is always feeling the stress of keeping as close to a perfect 4.0 GPA (all A grades) as possible. She is constantly studying and constantly stressed about tests.

While I am proud of her for being so serious about her studies, I also feel sad sometimes that she is always working so hard and having to be concerned about getting more then 1 or 2 wrong on any assignment or test.

Anyways, I hope you are able to relax a bit and that you totally enjoy Sunday as a day off! You deserve it!

Question about the packing cubes from those who use them. What size(s) do you like the most? Ebags is having a 20% off sale with free shipping (over $50) that ends tomorrow. I'm thinking slim and medium sizes. Not sure if I need the large ones, they seem too big but if you love them let me know. Sending DD14 to 2 week sleepaway camp, was wondering if these would be good for her too. They have shelves to keep their stuff on and it was suggested to use shoe size rubbermaid type boxes to keep like items together.

If anyone missed the Ebag sale, amazon .com sells the packing cubes for less money. Shipping is free if total order is at least $25. I have 2 sets of these packing cubes I've been using for the past 9 years. All are still in good condition and their great for when I don't want to unpack but keep things organised in my suitcase and also in the drawers on the cruise ships. ACK! I should have checked there too...looked on Lands End and QVC. I ordered the Ebags version as the one of each size, one set of all mediums and a set of slims. Since they have free returns I figured I'd go ahead and order a bunch to see what I liked best. I have to say that taking them out of the suitcase to hotel dresser is what really sold me. I don't like my things touching strange drawers. I should have done this a long time ago!

Hi everyone
I've been on vacation, but now I am baaaack!

So what did I miss? : I see something about white shirts, but I have no idea what it's about, let me know if it has anything to do with me, there is no way I can look through a weeks worth of posts.

OK I just went on Amazon and saw the e bags packing cubes, a set of 3 for $21.87...Has anyone used these and do you actually fit a weeks worth of clothes in these 3 bags? I mean I'll buy them, if you all have good things to say about them and they really make life easier.

I hope everyone is doing well this evening. We are having thunderstorms here. The power went out for about an hour but, not it is back on. Hopefully, it will not go out again. DS is in the bed with me because he is afraid of all the lightning and thunder.

I am so happy tomorrow is Friday. It has been a very busy work week and I have not been in the office as much which means paperwork is piling up. Hopefully, I wil be able to spend at least one day in the office next week.

This weekend should be a restful one for us. After church, DS & I will be taking DH out to eat for Father's Day. Other than that we have no plans. I hope all the fathers out there have a happy Father's Day.

That was some loud thunder last night wasn't it! My dogs wouldn't leave my side until they had to go do their "doggie business" then when they came in they were soaking wet and wanted to be right next to me all wet. We didn't loose power up here, but we rarely do.

The thunder was so loud. DS ran into the room and would not leave my side. I was surprised we lost power here because we rarely do.

this is an effect of the T-shirt simulator.
Most likley "white" is considered as transparent so, through it, you can see the color of the shirt below.

But this is not the case with real T-shirts
