HELP !!!

I have tried MANY TIMES to retrieve our reservation to see if we have a cabin #
BUT I keep getting this message :
We cannot locate a reservation with the confirmation number you have entered.

YES , I have double checked the reservation # .............
it looks like our reservation isn't there !!!!

The emails have not gone out for FEs yet. I know Kristin will get it done as soon as she can. With her teaching job, and now having to deal with her broken ankle (she is in alot of pain and taking medication), I know she will work on it as soon as she is feeling up to it.

My sister just had a tornado go through her back yard last night. Luckly the house only has some broken windows and their car got a little banged up. She said that there were 15 people (neighbors too) and 2 dogs in her tiny underground shelter. It's a good thing they had it installed a few years ago!

So glad your sister, her family and her neighbors are ok,This is just getting scary with all these tornadoes

Exciting news here in our house....DD (15) spent all last week trying out to make the high school dance team. For fall, they have a pre-game dance team and the varsity dance team for football. For winter, they have a competitive jazz team, a competitive kick team and the b-squad basketball team.

DD was chosen to be on the varsity dance team in the fall and gets to do both the competitive jazz team and the competitive kick team!!!!
We are so excited for her because dance is HUGE in our town and there were a lot of great dancers who tried out.

Jen...Congrats to your daughter!!! I know that proud feeling I'm feeling it for sure tonight. We are getting ready to leave now for my daughters dance at the school tonight, instead of gym you can take dance in our HS, she did dance instead of gym in 9th grade and at the end of 9th grade tried out for dance company and made the tryouts and tonight is the schools dance company performance. It's been a busy end of year week here for us,
Monday she was in ASL idol, she takes ASL as her language, I can cry when I see her sign so quickly, makes me so proud that she can communicate with someone who can't hear.

Yep, DD is 15 and is just finishing 9th grade at the HS. DS is 11 and is finishing 5th grade. I don't feel like I am old enough to have these 2 big kids...but I must be!

I think there are a large number of us on this cruise that REALLY need a vacation. As quickly as I want our trip to come, I am just sad knowing that once it comes....it will end way too quickly.

Yes, guests had to pay for alcoholic drinks on the deck at the sailaway party. Soft drinks were free at the drink stations. You could get drinks (wine, beer, and hard alcohol) for free if you were up in the concierge lounge -- so that's what we tended to do, but now and then we bought drinks if we were at a bar. The concierge lounge had happy hour every day between certain hours (I've already forgotten the exact times!) Steve thought their selection of stuff was decent.

Yes, they did have some sort of yummy steak at Palos that Steve ordered on Palo Night #2...

I've been going through old pictures to get ready for his grad party, and keeping kleenex nearby. I am always a wuss when it comes to tears anyway, but this is nuts. My dh says he's not going to sit anywhere near me at graduation LOL.

It is a holiday, Monday is Memorial Day. Since the kids have tomorrow off, we go up and come back a day early, as the traffic can be just awful.

Wow, 47!!! We've had record breaking heat this week!!! 90's and sunny!!! Unlike most of you that have gotten lots of rain....we need rain!!! We are supposed to get some tomorrow afternoon, but the weekend is supposed to be nice!!!

Here we have very HOT days , absolutely unusual for May .
Today we are having 90°F , hot sun and NO winds - not even a light breeze or a single cloud !
Old people are having a rough time ... think that in Italy houses do not have airconditioning , NOR schools either !!

Laura - I know that 90° and hot sun is probably no fun for you (and I do feel bad for all the older people without air)....but we would give a lot to have some warmer temperatures right now. It is still so cold here.

Terri - That is so scary. We have been having so many tornadoes lately in our region but thankfully they have all been at least 30 minutes away from us.

Hello Everyone!

The cruise is getting closer all the time. I am really looking forward to the trip as it get's me out of work for 11 days!! We leave the 12th and do not return until the 28th - kids start school the next day!!

Jen - congratulations to Em - that is big!!

Trip reports are Wonderful!!

Glad to hear everyone is okay in the mid-west so far.

Anyone have big plans for the holiday weekend? I am furloughed on Friday so I get one more day than DD and the kids. We then go upstate NY to my MIL cottage on lake Ontario. Then it is home and recital weekend following - so if I am not around much you know why!

I'm trying to do some marking but also packing as we are away this weekend at another dog comp- I'm really looking forward to it as work is just silly at the mo!

Tired is not the word - but I'm sooooo excited. I job share my class and teach the end of the week - when I went in there was a message on the computer screen saying - Try and focus Helen, its not Disney time yet

I was telling my pupils today about the Dream LOL - think Disney should pay me soe royalities as all my class want to go on her

Summer term started this week, so my mini-vacation is over, but I'm sneaking in one long weekend on a tag-a-long trip to DP's meeting.

Kristin - This weekend I am going to finalize our hotel and am happy to know where everyone is. I am pretty sure we are leaning towards staying at the airport for the convenience of it all but I want to price out all my options and think about it. I also want to think about going to port when we arrive even though it will be late simply because I would love to wake up and be so close to the ship!!!

Too funny! As soon as I got the list, I had to start looking at some web sites of all the ideas I have been considering for FE gifts. I will probably still wait a bit before starting my gifts though.
