Hello Everyone! Just wanted to say that I will try to post some of the things that everyone has been talking about on the website this weekend.

Today was a really great day. My presentation went great! Apple would like me to talk at a few more of the events coming up. I was also asked to be a keynote speaker at a Technology and Learning Institute that is being held at a college near us in July. They want me to come and talk about the success and challenges of our program as well as how what we are doing is transforming education for our students. Despite how crazy my job makes me...it is a really exciting job when I stop and think about all that we are doing.

Kristin: Please tell Hanna that I am totally proud of her as well and I am sure she made an INCREDIBLE Snow White!!!

I am so glad that you video taped the play! I can't wait to see it! You should figure out how to take a short bit of it and make it into a video you can post.

I told Jude today that I was going to have to get used to public speaking again because there were many people who wanted to speak with me, speak at an event or come and see me at my school. I think my job will continue to challenge me and keep me on my toes for quite some time!

Hi Everyone,

Hanna had her drama play tonight. She was Snow White in the production........She did GREAT!! We are soo proud her!!


We will be staying at VB from the 12-14th. Would love to have a pool-side meet on the 13th. How about we do drinks and snacks by the pool mid afternoon on the 13th!!

Drinks by the pool on the 13th works for us!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR OUR DISNEY DREAM CABIN TOUR

Hi everyone we will be doing a Cabin Tour of the different categories and variations of cabins on our beautiful ship.

Volunteers are really needed to make this interesting tour work.

We need volunteers who don't mind showing off their cabins, and volunteers who would like to tour.

The tour is most likely to take place on embarkation day August 16th, while our cabins are new and clean and most of us haven't unpacked yet.

If you are willing to show your cabin please PM (Private Message) me with your category and cabin number so I can add it to the tour.
If you would like to just do the tour PM me your request so I can add you to the list.

I'll be including my cabin which I've dubbed a special cat. 6A, as long as Disney doesn't change it before we cruise. See the pictures below.

We actually could not video-tape it but we will be getting a professional copy soon!!

Well, we paid off the rest of the cruise today and I booked a Palo brunch for our sea day... still trying to decide if we also want to do Palo for dinner.. most likely not.... spa day instead..

Has anyone else booked at the Comfort Suites for the Atlantis day? still debating on doing this....

Is it because we are staying concierge? There were tons of options in terms of times this afternoon for brunch for 2.... I did have some problems with it telling me to choose the primary guest (there was no drop down the time I tried)...

I know what you mean...seeing everybody say they are going to do it has inspired me too! Plus I like the shirt!!!

There is nothing say that you have to run the 5K. Walking is fine too. From what I hear, people often walk it, and it is more of a group event than a race. I'm trying to convince my family to join me on one of the days. My one DD may run part of the way with me, but my other DD and DH likely would walk it. I look at it as a good reason to get up, get moving and see the island. Plus, you can order yourself a really cool t-shirt if you join us, and no one will ever know whether you walked or ran it.

Walking is good!!! What font did you use for the shirt? I was trying to put one on the back and wanted it to match. I was also having difficulty changing the type of shirt. Thanks for doing this!

DGH and I will be at AKL since August 2nd ; so to us WHATEVER park or meal or resort meet will be WONDERFUL !!!

August 14 / 15 I plan on doing some laundry and re-pack for the cruise , but we have no special activities planned !!!
August 15 it is my birthday ; we will have lunch at Yak&Yeti ( which I love !) -

On 8/13 we are doing the Spirit of Aloha show, but are flexible during most of the day; 8/14 - we will at the MK - dinner at Tony's, but we we looking to escape the park park mid-day for lunch or something; and 8/15 - are plans have us tentatively hanging at the pool at BLT and boating on Bay Lake - pretty flexible that day.

I just wanted to let you all know that we will not be sailing on this trip. We will be going on the Member Cruise in September and are buying a vacation house 15 minutes from Disney so we decided to pass on this awesome trip

I hope to sail with you all again another cruise

Happy Weekend everyone! Wish the sun would pop out here tough.... A morning full of soccer is now done and it's off to the Italian Market Festival in Philly..... yummy food here we come!!
