"Cheeseburger in paradise" was our (Marco+me) Hawaii vacation's theme song for our last trip in those "paradise" islands !!!

This WHERE THE BOAT LEAVES FROM could become DGH 's video THEME SONG from this Dream cruise !!!! I'll have him listen to it tonight !!!!!

With all the Harry Potter talk going on, I just have to put this out there... I'm so excited to go see the movie tomorrow!

My kids talked me into buying them tickets to go and see it tomorrow afternoon without my DH and I. Boy what we don't do for our kids! My whole family fought over the books when they came out.

Oh Candy, you're all in my thoughts and prayers. Last year, when my dad was in hospice and we were told that he could go at any moment, I also prayed that it was sooner rather than later. Although, I couldn't imagine life without him, I also didn't want to continue his suffering.

You have the right approach to your FIL situation, we tend to be a little "selfish" and want the person here with us in bones and flesh, regardless of the circunstances. He will still be with you guys, watching over from Heaven and just waiting for you to "get home" soon! your family will be in our prayers, we'll meet soon.

I am so sorry to hear about your FIL. My dad passed away of a brain tumor not even a month ago. We took him down to the beach for the weekend knowing his time was near. I know how hard it is. Love and prayers to you and your family.

Hello Everyone!

I've been gone for a while and finally caught up reading way too many pages! Things have been a bit rough lately. My husband sprained his ankle badly about a month ago and is finally now better. My aunt had a brain aneurism and needed to have surgery and has been in the the ICU for about 3 weeks. She was finally moved about of the ICU this past weekend and seems to be doing better. Thank God. Any prayers you could send her way would be much appreciated. Needless to say, its been a stressful few weeks.

What a great theme song!! Randy really likes Zac Brown!! We always watch Crossroads that Jimmy Buffet was talking about! I don't know why they left that song out of it! Thanks for sharing!

I also love HP. I read all 7 books out loud to now DS15. Then, I read book 7 outloud to DS11 last year. Looking forward to the movie and as much as I want to see it, we're probably going to wait till next weekend when it won't be so crowded. Both of my boys really enjoy HP except for the 6th movie. They didn't care for that one.

Yes- thanks for introducing us to Carol too. She was the one who helped talk DH into our first (and only) Disney cruise. She called him on the phone to teach him about how much fun it would be. Thank you Carol!

In reviewing all of the posts on here it is sad to see how many people have been facing adversity and trauma. My heart goes out to all of you. May you and your loved ones have all the pixie dust you need for a speedy recovery.

I felt the same way!! But I thought I would give it try again because after I saw the first part, I forgot about alot of stuff and wasn't sure if they had added that! After reading 7 again, I realized there were alot of stuff I didn't remember, and realized they did a pretty good job at keeping most things close to the book. The first part took up about two thirds of the book, so I am expecting the second part to be pretty close to right on with the book....I hope anyway.
I have a few feiends that work for Warner Bros, and they have already seen the movie, and all of them loved it!! They also said they were sad it was over!!

I reread ALL of the books before and after each new book came out. Yup I'm a geek!

Dh read none of them so all he has are the movies.

I came across this today. Pretty neat summation of the first seven movies in six minutes!

I can't see the movie this weekend, but I am hoping to catch it in the theater in 3D before the cruise. Our weekends are packed so it is hard to fit it in! (the kids are too young to see it so I have to go to it solo!)

Dh and I watched Deathly Hallows Part 1 last weekend so it is all fresh in my mind!

My wife was telling me that she read somewhere that Bahamian vendors don't take cash, only credit cards. I am not sure if she meant the entire island or at Paradise Island where we are going. Anyone else hear of something like this?

DH and I went on a jog this morning, and DH ended up hurting his OTHER ankle! Its not nearly as bad before though, so hopefully he'll be back on it in a couple of days...

Which packing cubes do you like best? The small, medium, or large??

I like the medium cubes best overall because I can organize those more easily in the suitcase and throw one or two in my "day bag" with our swimwear and and extra change of clothes for when we first board the ship.
