Very cool!!:)

Hey...just wanted to post that you might want to see if you can modify the reservation and add this coupon:

enter the coupon code AD2724FZA

I found it on the transportation thread today. I now have 2-1 day rentals with Budget PLUS a 11 night rental with Alamo. It is about $100 to have the van the whole time but I still might go with it. We have the cruise package at the hotel so parking during the cruise would not cost extra and it would be a LOT less of a hassle to have it the whole time.

Thanks, but if I modified the ressie and added that code it would cost over $300 more money. The cost in my orinial post was incorrect and I have recently fix it. We are actually paying $350 not $250 for the rental. Still not too bad.

So after me obsessing yesterday over what my kids would eat on Castaway Cay?... I tell dh last night the plan of ordering Uncrustables from room service for the kids and he said no!

Told me they could eat breakfast and then eat whatever was there ...if not they could wait until we got back on the ship.

He thinks if they are hungry enough they will actually try something new. I'm not sure about that (the kids are as stubborn as their parents!) but we'll see!

My husband would have the same philosophy...if they are hungry they will eat, but I would be the one listening to the whine! (instead of drinking the wine!!) So if you can smuggle something off the ship, do it!

:cool1::cool1::cool1: Cruise documents arrived in the mail today!!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

That it great!! We didn't get ours:mad: But the rest of my Landsend order arrived!! WooHOO!! :thumbsup2 Should we all wear our matching cover-ups to the Dis-Meet?? Maybe we should all iron our cruise logo onto them!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

AWESOME, want to meet up at the pool on 8/13?? We arrive on the 12th!!

Works for me!

My youngest son is so cute...He has all his new clothes laid out and wants me to get his suitcase out of the attic so he can pack!! I keep telling him.."Brian, we don't leave for almost 5 weeks, don't wory you have time!!" Too cute! I wish he would pack his school bag with so much care!!

You'll be able to recognise me at the port - I'll be the one who is probably crying :confused3 as I know for a fact as soon as I see the ship I'll be blubbering - and if thats bad i really let go when I hear the horn - Dave tries to ignore me as I blubber away:rotfl:

My sister and I (Amanda132) always say we are going to cry when we first walk on the ship. I'm not sure if she's kidding, but I'm definitely not. As sad as it is, I get teary eyed when people first walk on the ship in trip reports.

I'm not either! Pay no attention to the girl wearing sunglasses indoors, sniffling quietly to herself.

Gee, maybe I should order a coverup!!! :rotfl2::rotfl: I was thinking cruise logo tees though!!!

Does anyone know if the laundry on the Dream uses cash/coins? Or does it charge it to your room?

I am trying to get a feel for how much cash I need to bring on board. I am planning on cash for room service tips (lots of small bills), cruise gratuities (we always pay these in cash), post office on castaway cay, and tips for porters. Am I missing anything else? Laundry shouldn't be much if I do have to pay cash, but I want to be sure we have smaller Bills for it if needed.

The machines have card reader for charging it back to your room.

Hi Guys thank you so much for thinking about us, it is really appreciated. Right my MIL has been discharged again from the hospital as there is no more they can do at present as it is a case of waiting for her immune and digestive system to get back on track after such a major op. SO all we can do is wait and pray. Its hard seeing her so poorly, but we have faith that she will improve and get stronger.

HI THERE Helen !!!
Nice to have you back writing !!!

I'll keep you MIL in my thoughts !! Hopefully she will get stronger and stronger as time goes by !! Give her a SPECIAL Italian HUG !!

WE are SO WAITING for our documents to get here : :scared: we will leave home August 1st !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We booked the Fantasy when we sailed last October over Halloween on the Magic, 7 day western. We decided on 2 adjoining cat 4As instead of a cat T. Our last 4 sailings were all Concierge, wanted to try something different this time.

Funny thing is 4 of us booked in 2 Cat 4As back in 10/2010 was $7,600. If you try to book one Cat 4A for the same August 25, 2012 Eastern sailing it is $7,600 so I guess if you book earlier you can sometimes get what amounts to a BOGO! :rotfl2:

WOW Good for you, but crazy to think that someone would pay $7,600 for one cabin for a one week cruise. :confused3
