I haven't done many cakes lately, but I have over 200 cake pans, so I can pick it back up anytime. Would love to see some pics of your creations! I don't think I could work for a bakery, though...I work way too slowly!!

Wow!! That's alot of pans!!! I don't have near as many! I too haven't decorated very much lately. The bakery I worked at, I managed and I had someone decorate most of the cakes, but I used to step in quite a bit and decorate them. Unfortunately, most of the cakes I did, I left the pictures at work when I left. I feel I am so out of practice right now. I would like to start decorating more. I have only done about 5 cakes in the past year. I have only worked with buttercream and whip cream, but I would like to start working with fondant. I bet you do great work!

Thanks Randy! Sounds just like my husband and me...he's the quiet one and I'm the wild child...lol...Nothing wrong with boring, though Kristin says you're not... I'm looking forward to meeting you as well as Candy!

Oh that's too bad about the pictures...I love looking at other people's cakes! I generally use my own buttercream, which ironically has no butter or cream in it! I used fondant only once, and really didn't like it... thank goodness it was a "money bag" cake, so it was supposed to be wrinkled...LOL... I'm sure you would pick it right back up despite the lag in decorating...like riding a bike! I do ok, but haven't branched out to many things besides buttercream, either... made a few flowers here and there, but can't even do roses very well... Well, guess I should get my little monkeys to bed now...they love staying up late when school's out... Looking forward to chatting more in the next 39 days and meeting you soon! Hey Erika,

Is your 11-11:30 your old time or DCL's new time for you? We are in the same situation as you. Our normal routine is for me to drop off Candy and return the rental car, then hook up with her in the terminal after she checks us in. We might just stick together this time.

That was our typical routine as well, but we may be sticking together. It wont be fun with 4 kids, 2 strollers, 2 car seats and a lot of luggage on the Budget Rental car shuttle, but it may be a better situation than fighting the crowds to drop us off.

Kristin - Since many of us will be renting cars and have similar plans of dropping off the family/luggage while one person returns the car, can you ask the concierge how they envision that process to work? Thanks!

If anyone is interested, I just canceled the double jet ski excursion for day 5 CC at 1pm, and another at 2pm.

I hate to give this up, but being our last afternoon, I am afraid my kids are going to be too tired and hot to be excited for this.

11 is the original time I was given, they haven't changed it...yet. The thought of dragging 4 people and their luggage on the rental shuttle sounds like a nightmare!

We won't be having breakfast with you all, as we are at CIS...

That doesn't sound like much fun!! What time do you plan on checking into CI&S? We would love to meet up with you!

How old are your kids? Not that this makes any difference, but the trip from CI&S isn't very long...so maybe it won't stress you too bad!

We will be right there with you!! My time is 11 too and we are coming from CIS. Heck,we will probably be following you down from Universal!!!

We will be at CI&S too... we'll probably see everyone at breakfast in the morning!

Legally (by Florida law) both kids (5 & 10) can just use the seat belt in the shuttle but with all my CPST training I KNOW too much about the dangers of using seat belts when they don't fit younger kids so even it if is 20ft I would worry. At 10yo, Bethany is well beyond even PA's car seat law (8yo) but she doesn't pass the 5 Step Test in either the van or the car so she's still using a booster. Ben is actually still in a ginormous harnessed seat in the van but has been using a booster for shorter trips in the car.

Yup, I am one of those freaky car seat people but it is my volunteer thing and as I said before I have too much training to not use them whenever we can.

So now you all know my about my OTHER obsession ....other than Disney of course! (and this makes my coworkers think I am just a complete freak all the way around...but I'm still the one they come to w/ car seat and Disney questions! )

OMG...I almost forgot!

I have my digital version of PassPorter's 2011 Cruise Guide!

The actual books won't be available until sometime in August. Since I already have the 2010 version in my binder I just ordered the online version of the 2011 book. YAY!!!

I have only read bits and pieces so far but it is awesome!

YAY....I have it on my Kindle too!

So now if anyone needs any last minute info...I'll have it right there at my fingertips!
