We used Florida Tours town cars over the past years , but twice they had heavy delays : last cruise we arrived to the port in the afternoon , FL Tours driver told us there was a mess in reservations ................. he arrived to pick us up with 2 hours delay !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was so nervous ... and did not enjoy all the "embarking" procedure .......

So this time we are looking for another company ; we have heard good comments about HAPPY LIMO ...

Can someone recommend a reliable town car service ? Suggestions please !!!

Unfortunately the first and last time we used Happy, we did not have a good experience. Getting to the port, we were delayed because the people getting OFF the boat dilly dallied. Ok, not the town car's fault, per se. The way back to the airport, however, the driver was RUDE. He was CRUISING, too. Our son was sick the night before & his tummy had not fully recovered. My hubby had to yell at the driver a few times to slow down and stop with the crazy driving (bumps, swerves, etc).

I have used Tiffany Towncar a few times and liked them a lot.

We have used interplex several times when we are in Florida. Never had any problems with them and they have always been on time. Always very accomodating. Found they had very decent rates as well. http://www.interplex.net/

We use Happy Limo. I haven't had a problem and used them for 3 cruises with lots of different pick ups and drop offs from parks and hotels.

THANKYOU !!!! We will be arriving with a town car , so I guess we will ask for departure from AKL about 8.30 !!!!!
I am the one who arrives 30 minutes BEFORE the planned meeting time ... at work but also with friends / family reunions !!


Seriously , I hope for #2 boarding paper : we'll have so much to explore !!!!

Usually at OUR check-in counter there is a short line - or no line at all ...
A PRIVILEGE of being FOREIGNER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that many of us will be there so IMHO the waiting won't look sooooooooooo long

The good part of cruising with a group of DISers is that we will have a mini meet in the terminal which will definitely make the time go by quicker. Maybe we should wear our lanyards to the terminal so we can meet up with each other.

Ugh Delta strikes again! First they moved our flight into Orlando back 2 1/2 hours, not arriving until 8pm. I got that corrected so we now get in mid afternoon. Now I just got an e-mail saying our flight out of Orlando has been changed from 12:18 to 10:45 am!!! Um, NO, don't think so!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not a big fan of Delta at all for the exact reason stated, they always seem to change flights on people. Good Luck

Busy week this week...

Dd was in our local Reading Olympics on Tuesday night. Her team did really well and they earned a blue ribbon (needed 50 points for one, and they earned 60!)!

Today was Take Your Children to Work day. I was on the planning team at work...and dd was there to participate! We kicked off the day w/ a video conference w/ a colleague in Beerse, Belgium, lots of fun workshops and ended the day by making activity packs for the kids at CHOP (Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania)!

Glad to be able to breathe again.

We will be making our 100 link countdown chain this weekend. I've identified all the Friday's between now and then so we can pick out a different Disney movie to write on those days to watch each week!

Lucky you, you have to let me know how Princess is, that is next on my cruise list, really want to go on the Princess cruise that does the Southern Caribbean out of Ft. Lauderdale for 7 nights. I LOVE trying different cruise lines.
