Have not seen Tron, but Bruce and my Dad are taking the girls to see the new Narnia movie tomorrow!! While, my mom and I go for a massage!!

Both, of my girls are starting to sound congested....... UT-Oh I hope they are not getting sick right before we leave!!

It's been awhile since I've had a chance to check in. I've been too busy trying to figure out what my room (8006) looks like, and must admit that I'm a bit disappointed at what it might look like, from seeing a picture of a similar room on another deck. But, I think my kids godparents, who have connecting 8A rooms on Deck 5, will be super happy after the pictures of those rooms we've seen.

This cruise is packed to the gills, and as of a few moments ago, there are no August 2011 cruises showing available for a family of 4 at the moment. (Earlier today there were a few suites left on other cruises, but now they all appear to be gone.

Jen - I'm in awe about the iPads. And I can understand the whole increase in applications. Way way back when I was looking at colleges, I originally picked my top few choices by the ones that gave each student a computer! (Then I picked the one that gave me a scholarship.)

I think they are coming back on the 28th!!

Isn't it the 30th? 1/26-1/30 to make 4 nights?

I thought I read it was per person?? While it looks nice - we can find a lot of other ways to spend $150 on DCL!!

There was one review I was reading today that said the charge for the Remy dinner could approach $200/pp once you add in tips and I assume that's with the wine pairings, which I think makes it $125 or so pp. And dinner can go 3-5 hours! That's a long dinner (and a long time for the kids to be in the kids clubs at night depending on how old they are.)

Platinum Castaway Club DCL site has some Navigators and some pics of the menus up.

I was about to be impressed that you were able to get it by the board filters, but then I realized the filter caught the URL, just not the rest of it for some reason.

That is around here too, but tonight they added that they had to flush 3 ice cubes down the toilet! I don't know what that is for, but they heard it from a friend at school!

I have to ask - where did all this wearing PJs backwards and inside out, and ice and ice cube rumors start? This is the first year my DS 7 has been in public school, and 2 weeks ago he started wearing his PJs backwards and inside out trying to bring on a snow day. Apparently his teachers told them this, and also said DH was supposed to be putting a cup of water outside each night. Well, he's been successful and they've had 4 snow days in the last week or two. But now I hear it's across the country, I just have to ask where it comes from. Is there a book out there where this rumor is put forth??

Jen - I was wondering (and apologies if it was addressed a ways back) if there are any plans to add the show times to the web page as well? Since there are now 3 shows, with two options per dinner seating, it's another piece of info for each of us.

Yep - I want to add it. I am hoping to add a bunch more each weekend now that the ship is actually sailing. I am trying to figure out how I want to organize some of it.

With my job being so crazy right now, I am limited in how much time I can dedicate to adding things but I do want the site to be good.

Thank you. I think they will have fun too. DS is looking forward to the club and he makes friends wherever he goes. Thhose friends tend to be girls though. Lord help me when he is a teenager!

DH saw Tron Legacy and enjoyed it. He said it was a beter story line than the first one. And, of ourse, the effects were better. He watched the first one before he went to see the new one.

HI HAPPY FRIDAY !

I would love to go to Remy (im a big food lover) and I think the experience is magical.
But (im not sure Dave will be up for it as he's a pretty fussy eater)

Its my birthday on the 17th and I keep thinking it would be great but then again I dont want to miss any of the regular restauants.

Anyone know when the first of the 5 night cruises are happening on the Dream then at least we'll know for definate what nights are your repeats??

Someone asked about a comparison with V&A : well, we have been at the Chef Table , so I don't know how the "regular" service would be ...

WE WIIL HAVE TO WAIT AND READ THE REVIEWS ABOUT REMY ! I suppose you can get "out of this world " food BUT NOT ONLY THAT !!!
In our experience at V&A we had the chef coming to talk with us about each course : ingredients, preparation ... and lots of very interesting facts : how you slice a lemon , when it's the best time to collect peaches ,how you choose the best watermellon at your market .... WE were told the HISTORY behind each dish and how different chefs put in their own touch ...
It was really a delightful experience !!!


I'd expect something like that in REMY !!

Getting ready to head into work both today and tomorrow. Good thing I have all this overtime for the last couple of months. I have been able to pay for the cruise and travel all in the last couple of months.

Watching the news right now, they are talking about another big storm coming Tuesday into Wednesday. Where are we going to put all this snow???

I heard that too about another storm think they are really right and it will "HIT" us..??
