I wouldnt have known except I got an email from DCL today confirming my reservation which has been booked for almost a year. I hadnt made any changes so I called. They told me that they were updating dining/show schedule on the dream. I was disappointed that they just randomly assigned people and then they will enforce the show time. I would expect them to loosen the rules a bit once the Dream is up and running. I cant imagine that they would tell people who are loyal DCL cruisers that they cant see a show because its not their time....

If you go into your reservation and try to modify you will see dining choices available and your show will be listed along side it

Bummer. We are waitlisted for first seating and I see that main dining is available on the Disney site if I booked now. I would take a 5:00 show for Main dining. I wish they had offered it to the waitlisted folks!

Check your ressies folks. Disney is assigning show times now to go along with your dinner. They assigned my family a 5 PM show and main dining. Supposedly they will either be giving out tickets or something noted on your KTTW card showing your scheduled show time. If you try to go to a show other than your assigned you will only be allowed if there is space available.

I can hear the complaints already!!!! (And I will admit I will be one of them :lmao:)

I called and waitilisted for the later show. No way I want to cut my day short to go have to shower and get dressed for a 5PM show.

We were originally booked into Main Dining (I thought I would change it to late dining...just wasn't sure). I called Disney and I decided to make the change to late dining because they put me into the 5pm show time with the main dining. Show times are 5pm, 7pm and 9pm. With early dining they only had the 5pm show time available (the 7pm was waitlisted)..Waaay too early for us. So...We are now on late dining with a 7pm show time.

Give Disney a call...We just gave up our Main dining slot...

DCL updated my reservation today and I now have the main dining/9PM show as I had waitlisted for.

Hope everyone else is able to get what they want.

Just e-mailed with my agent, and she says we have the main dining with the 9pm show. What time are the shows on the Magic? I don't recall the late show being quite that late.

Emailed our TA and we are all set w/ late seating and a 7pm show time.

Even though the kids will be 5yo and 10yo when we sail, we are opting for late seating so we can take advantage of the kid's club whisking them away after they eat dinner. Plus we tend to eat later at home anyway! :thumbsup2

I was changed to "Second Seating, 7pm show". How many seating's is there?

Is "Second" the same as "Late Seating"? I see Main, Second, and Late?? What time would "Second" be? Thanks for the help. -HarborWhaler

I found it. Second Seating is the same as Late seating. I do like the idea of the 7pm show instead of an earlier show.

When I go into my reservation, it won't let me try to modify it. I guess I will have to call and find out my times.

Hello all!

I am feeling a bit of Mom sadness today. My wee baby boy is two! I can't believe that he is a toddler and no longer a baby!

Anyway, just thought that I would share. I am sure a lot of you have been there! We have having a family celebration tonight, then because of scheduling, we are having a get together with friends at the end of the month. Luckily, he is too young to realize that we are having his party so long after his birthday. :) Probably the last year we can get away with it, though!

Wow... I better email Dreams Unlimited and see what we are! I hope we have nothing late or my little man won't make it! And I'd he doesn't make it ... neither will I!

She told me as soon as she found out she grabbed 9pm for everyone, as she thought 5 was too early. And I do agree, showering and getting to a show by 5? UGH.

I agree 5 is a bit early but I also am thinking 9 is a bit late for my kids. But I guess that is better than 5. I have to say these changes and the shortened itinerary makes me wonder if I should rethink this cruise.....I hate that Disney is doing this for the shows. It really stinks!!

Happy Saturday Everyone !:goodvibes

Thank you for the info regarding showtimes:thumbsup2

I have checked our reservation and have late seating with 7pm show.

Well our puppy is 3 weeks today (born Sept 11th) so we've got 4 more weeks till we can bring her home! Time is going slowly:rotfl:

Can i just ask when you say shortened itinerary - has there been any changes or it it just the fact that its a 5 day cruise opposed to a 7 night?

Thanks
