Well I think I've finally figured out what I'm doing for the FE gifts Hoping that the execution of the plan goes as I have it in my mind! I've sent a pm to a few of you in the Mickey group requesting some additional info--just in case you aren't accustomed to looking at your messages

Can't believe there are only 40 days until we sail, and even fewer until we get to explore Vancouver! It is really starting to feel real...I am in the process of pre-paying our tips, figuring out if I'm going to request a specific dining rotation/set of servers (we are first seating for dinner), starting to check and double check my packing list, etc, etc--I'm just generally getting really excited!

Looking forward to putting some faces with names at the embarkation day meet-up! Are those of you with middle-school age (and older) kids planning to come to that meet-up? My kids are hoping to meet some similar-aged kids early on, so they have someone to hang out with during the week.

Got my cruise documents in the mail today! We are really starting to get excited now! I have my FE gifts halfway finished and starting to plan my packing. I've been reading all the posts all along, I just don't post often. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the ship!

Unfortunately, mine will be coming to the travel agency where I work. There was nothing in the mail today (although the person who did the mail today does have an attitude, so she may have withheld the envelopes until after I left), so I'll have to wait until Monday...

I have been reading the trip reports starting with May. I really need to STOP. I have some cleaning to do and family FE gifts to make

Nothing for us either although some of my famiy received theirs yesterday. One of those who got theirs lives at my address (but is a seperate stateroom / reservation)

I too have a house needs some ceaning and some FE gifts to be completed. I think tomorrow I will go and get the last thing I need to get them completed. Again putting off the cleaning and the laundry.

Our cruise docs came today as well ... by FedEx no less! (I'm guessing DCL didn't want to chance a Canada Post backlog as a result of the recent labour action.)

Wow! I am actually surprised that the cruise documents are arriving already! I am sure ours will be at least another week since they will be sent to my TA first and then to me.

I also have pulled together my final FE plan. I think I am going to enlist a non-cruising friend in the execution. I hope everyone will like them when I am done!

Also, if anyone sees me in the line for the cruise, or around Vancouver before the cruise, or at either one of the cruise meets, ask me for your FE gifts. The earlier in the cruise you get them, the more good they will do you.

We got our cruise booklet today with our luggage tags! Getting excited! Mellers that is a snazzy map....very nice! My FE stuff is going to take up a lot of room...I would like to know about sending the stuff ahead of time too...

I did look, but couldn't find any information about shipping to the port--I think you're probably best off shipping to the hotel.

My DH is a man who gave up his dream of doing graphic arts in favor of computer science--you can thank him for the map

So excited that doc are arriving. Stopped by the AAA office to pick up travel books and maps but TA did not have docs yet. Always love the trip to her office!

Funny thing, started posting a few days ago then it logged me out...guess I was too winded in my post

Being the planner that I am I feel so out of it this time. I just barely booked out flights Now just need to do our hotel accomodations and then figure out what sightseeing we will do in vancouver...I am hoping to take a ferry over to Victoria. Went on a band trip with my kids a few years ago and LOVED it! Hope togo back with DH

FE gifts are planned but some supplies are out of stock at my local Micheal's So, I am a little stressed beause they are not done yet. I may have to hunt them down this next week so I can get them done. I really like doing them but I don't want to feel rushed.

My ds (10) is also lookig forward to finding some buddies to hang out with. Just read a post about the Jr. Ranger Program and that seems like something he would be interested in.

I know I don't post much but I try to read and catch up.

Look forward to meeting all of you at the meets etc.

I know! It's great that we have some groups of DISboarder cabins close together on ship. So excited for the cruise

Also--have to brag on Mellerskidlet--she decided to try to get Algebra II done during the summer, and she has finished the coursework for the first semester, and is taking the final on Thursday. She's trying to get the whole class out of the way in time for the cruise, and I think she'll make it happen.
