Turns out hubby has a mandatory conventions 2 day's after we cast off that he cannot get out of per his boss. I'm sorry I won't be at the meet up but we are already looking to book for 2010 instead and just changing our deposit over. Have fun and maybe someday we will meet. C ya!

O' sad yes be we just extended out Disney trip instead so not so sad.

I just wanted to let you all know that in looking into a cruise for 2010 the double dip is back on a 5 day cruise. I'm so excited I think this is what we are going to book for next August. Have fun enjoy good luck on your adventures this years cruise may the Magic and Wonder of Disney be with you!

Had some cool news last week...

My DS will be graduating from high school this year, and we have been looking at colleges for the past two years, and he had one in particular that he wanted very badly. Luckily for us, they offer an instant decision. We went up last weekend, brought the application on Monday 8:30, they brought him to sit in on a class, DW and I went to breakfast on the college, they interviewed DS at 10:30, 10:45, they brought us in and congratulated him on being accepted to the class of 2013 in the Meteorology program! So next year he will begin his journey at Lyndon State College in Lyndon Vt. We are so excited for him to get not ony his first , but really only choice! Now we have lots of celebrating to do on this cruise!!!

How wonderful!!! And what a great career path....since we will always have weather patterns to study and predict!!!

we signed up this week, cat 9 oceanview and got room assignment. switch from cat 12 GTY. now i check 2 days later and the price went UP $350.

flying in on the 15th, staying at PO-New Orleans overnight, then cruise, then back to PO-New Orleans for day at Disney and leaving on the 21st.

2 kids, 15 and 11. excited to do cruising and atlantis.

Hi Mandy!

Our little thread has been quiet for a while!! I have been working on stuff for the cruise: signs/magnet, t-shirts and we are going for passports this weekend. I also have been feverishly reading trip reports.

Things have been tough here on the homefront, with our jobs and stuff, but the August vacation shines a little light for us.

Hate to sound like the kids, but are we there yet? Phew, after this winter, August will be SOOO needed.

Got our planning packets this past weekend. Realized I can start making my Palo ressies 2 weeks from this coming Monday!

I will be doing that, personal watercraft, and most likely a spa treatment of some sort!

Ok, now I am officially getting excited!

LOL, I like the sound of that. But I will be honest with you, I can't see us wearing matching t-shirts (the kids would be horrified even if we did it just as a family ). It would be great to have some pins, a door magnet or other souvenirs though

Our packet came at the weekend too. How lucky that you can make your reservations so early. I've got to wait till May 18th to make Palo dinner and Brunch ressies (fingers crossed). We won't be booking any other activities though
