August 12, 2007 Wonder??? Anyone else booked yet??

Well, just booked my first ever cruise. My dd, who will be almost 14 then, is curious as to whether or not there will be any other teen DISers on board. So, I figured I would start a 8/12/07 Wonder thread.
Hopefully, anyone booking will join the fun!!!! Hoping to meets lots of cruisin' DISers!!!

Hmmm, we are going that time too with our 2 children. I guess you were right...it's gonna be a mighty empty cruise line if we are the only 2 families going! LOL

WE most certainly will!!! We'll make some plans as we get closer to the date. Perhaps by then someone else will have booked!!!

I bet as it gets closer there will be more people on the boards. However...I am seeing a bunch of people already popping up for '08 cruises!

Anyway, where are y'all from? We are in Minden, LA. My ticker says only 9 months left! I can't wait! We have also ended up sneaking in a Christmas trip to the World come December! That'll help my time to go by a bit quicker or easier! You know what they say, time flies when you're having fun!

WOO HOO!! come join our cruise! We picked August because that is when our 10 year wedding anniversary is and it is also nearing the end of the kids' summer vacation from school so the cruise will be fresh on their minds for all those, "What'd you do for summer vacation" papers! We are first time cruisers as well. This will be our first ever cruise! My husband and I will be cruising with our 2 kids, DD9 and DS8.

Yep, we're 'killing' time until August with a trip in Dec also. I just got back two weeks ago from my dd's 13th birthday trip to WDW, and leave again on Dec 7 for my annual solo trip with my DIS buddies. Looks like we'll just miss each other in Dec!!!
Can't wait for August.....good thing it's a while away, gives me more time to figure out how to pay for the cruise!! We're spending 5 nights at BWV before the cruise, then 2 nights at Port Canaveral, checking out the local stuff and then on to the Wonder!!!
I'm sure we'll see more joining us as we get closer...at least I hope so anyway.

We are also going on our first cruise. We will be on the Wonder Aug 12-15, 2007. I two daughters, they will be ages 12 and 9.

There are a total of 12 of us together, 6 adults and 6 children, my 12 year old is the oldest and the youngest is 4.

I keep reading great things about the cruise and parks. As I am on the West coast we visit try to visit Disneyland every year in November when all of the holiday decor is up.

Hi,

We just booked this cruise today. It is DH and myself and our DD(10), this will be our first cruise on the Wonder. We have been on the Magic 4 times.

We just have to confirm our time off and we should be good to go. Our school year starts later next year so we are trying to get in a back to school trip before it starts.

Are there any other 10 year old girls out there? My daughter has loved to chat with others before the cruises. We plan to go down to Universal for a couple of nights before the cruise.

My dd, 13, is hoping she can find some girls her age also. Sure would be nice to have some others they are sort of familier with before they get there. Perhaps as we get closer we'll find some more girls in this age range. Too bad our dd's aren't closer in age...looks like they will be in different 'clubs' onboard.
