Aug vs Sept

We had decided not to WDW this year. Then I got the free dining email. Now I'm trying to plan a trip. We can either go around Aug 17 for 7nts or Sept 26 for 7nts. Any advantages or disadvantages at either time? How much hotter is Aug than Sept? I'd really appreciate your help.

Its hotter in August, but the parks are open longer in Sept.

I have never been in September but I think it may be cooler (not by much) then

Kids will be back in school by Sept. We were there for free dining last September 17-24th and the parks were almost empty. It was so great that I'm going back this year Sept 22nd-30th.

Funny thing was last year everyone told us not to go to Florida in Sept because of the hurricanes. While we were in Florida, a hurricane hit here in Texas.

There will probably be fewer crowds in Sept. Temperature wise is about the same. Hurricane chance is probably higher in Sept. We would probably choose Sept if we had that choice though.
