We leave the 23rd . . .today I brought all the suitcases outside for some fresh air . . .found our rain ponchos and gave them a quick gentle wash and hung them out to dry, folded them up and put them into small ziplock bags . . .and I also found the kids' squeeze breeze bottles that they used from our Summer 03 trip . . .

I have all our documents in a folder which I have to go through and organize and tomorrow I'll be making a list of things I will need at wal-mart . . (bug spray, sun block, etc)

We usually don't pack until the night before . . .but I am so excited that our trip is coming up really quick, that I might have to resist that urge to pack sooner.

Oh - THANK YOU ALL!!!

My family thinks I'm nuts. We leave 2 weeks from today, and I have the suitcases in our gameroom, opened, and I'm tossing stuff in a little at a time(like the new socks I bought everyone last night, but I need to take back out because I want to wash them once first!!)

It's great to come to a place where I feel like I fit in with my obsession!!!

I'm so proud of myself for having enough self control to hold off on getting out the suitcases. But I can't hold out much longer. In fact I've been making a spot in the bedroom to bring them out.

We leave in 24 days, and I haven't started packing yet. Actually, I really should start. It seems so close, but yet soooooo far away!!!

We leave on Aug 12th. Suitcases have been sitting in my living room for almost two weeks and partially packed, my husband thinks I need to calm down but I can't I'm so excited even more so than my son. I have already started packing for me and my 10 year old son. My husband always waits to pack because he can seem to put everything he needs together in 30 minutes the day before.

12 days to go!!

In my defense, I'm always on the look out for matching outfits, so those usually go right into the luggage. I also pick up neat shirts from DS, which I refuse to stain up before we go, so those go right in. With my schedule, I can pretty much only physically pack (mentally pack earlier!) on the weekend, so that cuts down on the opportunities available. I always take too much, so I need time to pare it down. A lot of times I buy stuff to take and need time to find it (not enough room in luggage to store everything). I will now start to get serious about picking and choosing through the piles of stuff I originally set aside to take, putting costumes and outfits into ziplocs, making sure we have our toiletries and medicines, etc. Also need time to do some serious laundry for some older stuff we'd like to bring. I'll be packing for DD3 and me, which is a job in and of itself. I think I have ADD, plus I am a control freak, plus I believe I am obsessive compulsive (my family thinks so too!), so in all honesty, I probably should have been done a month ago! Packing and planning is one of my favorite parts of the vacation...it's like a mini dream sequence opportunity....

Our trip is in 17 days!!! Aug. 17 to be exact! I have been thinking about this and really want to start packing now, but I don't want the luggage all over the place yet! We are having a big party at my house on Sunday for my dd's soccer team, so I think I will start packing on Monday the 7th. That will give me 10 days. I think I will go to Walmart tonight and buy some of the toiletries though. I can always start packing just that suitcase now and hide it in the laundry room! Atleast, I will be able to start doing something.

26 days, I'm completely packed, suitcases are ready to go...NOW WHAT!!!! I am sooooo ready to be at WDW!

we have 11 days left!! yay!! i remember when i started counting, it was something like 78 days.. now it's only 12! haven't started packing yet.. i will probably start on the 10th, get the suitcases out.. start packing clothes, things that i need but won't use in the next couple of days, etc.. it's like a countdown until i can actually pack!!

We leave Friday morning to go to Baltimore (we fly out early on Saturday) and I have finally started packing. I have the kids almost done and I have some of my stuff layed out. DH won't have his clothes picked out until Thursday night.


I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!! These next few days are going to be murder!

OK, thats it, I'm getting out the suitcases TODAY! Need to see if I need a new one, if I have enough clothes, do I need to get the DH anything?,........ So much to do, so little time....(only 12 days to go! )

with 23 days to go i requested that mom and sis do trial packing, that is get out everything you would bring to disney lay it out and figure what you still need of course i am still buying clothes for the trip becuase eventhough my closet is full i have nothing to wear. then im on essential partol time to get ponchos fans extra sox and gallons of sunscreen!!! we are known to have over limit suitcases need to start packing so i can narrow down what shoes i can fit ( i have been cut off at 5)

Not sure how much longer I can hold out. I know that if I start packing though, there will be nothing to get me through the last 2 weeks before we go. What to do, what to do...

I really need to CLEAN my house before I start pulling out stuff to pack though.
