Aug. or Spet.???

I need hlep deciding when to go....
We are planning for either Aug. or September. Does anyone have any suggestions? Weather - crowds?

both monthes are hot. however, if you go after labor day, the crowds are much lighter than early august. i have been both times and would return in september.

Our favorite time of the year for us is the end of September / early October. And it is value season at the resorts. It is still warm enough to enjoy the water parks but not as hot as the summer months.

September is still very much summer there. My SIL swears september is hotter than August! In any case, the weather is similar - hot, humid, chance of showers every day.

I would (& do) avoid summer vacations if at all possible. The last week of august is supposed to be better, but if you're flexible, go for Septmeber. The week after labor day has non-existant crowds
