It's not a horrible problem compared to the difficulties of many, I agree up front. But, I have to evaluate pros/cons of changing my Cat 2 Nov 11 2006 Special Western itinerary to a Cat 3 Aug 19th - same itinerary - for the same price, which does kind of hurt.
Pros for August - the Cat 3 is a midship, so it's a bigger layout, which is a plus. DD won't miss any school, also a plus. Oh, and it's only 17 months away instead of 20 months out!
Not a reason to arbitrarily pay the extra $$, I know!
Pros for November - same price for a Cat 2, which is most likely something we'd never do again. Weather might be more bearable than the humid inferno in August, which is important to DH! Most likely won't have to worry about hurricanes as opposed to August, although I know it's still technically hurricane season. More time for DS to get fully potty-trained. He turns 3 in April, and is showing NO signs of interest as birthday #2 approaches!
The more I type the more I seem to be leaning to sticking with November, but thought someone might want to zap some Midship Cat 3 love into me or convince me that missing a week of second grade totally obliterates my chances at mother-of-the-year?! Am I crazy for even thinking about this?
