Further, what do other people plan to do who were looking for that time slot.....I hate the thought of spending $400 more per person for an earlier date, but may have no choice.............

I emailed my TA and she seemed to think that there might be a Fantasy cruise then, but won't know until tomorrow. I'm still holding out hope, even though it's not listed.

Part of me thinks that she didn't read it thoroughly and was pacifying me (but I've know her for years and she knows that I do my own research)... but still holding out some hope that it was just an accidental omission!

DVC usually does have a Member Cruise. Never had one on the Fantasy. I would like that! This year it is on the Magic.

we may have to book pres week...i was really hoping for eastern carrib....so disappointed....AND now I have to fix my countdown...............rats!!!!

Typically the DVCs have been late August, early September. In. 2015, we boarded around August 27. This year, it's in September because it's out of NYC.

Last summer, the DVC member cruise in Alaska was 5/31, well after kids here were out of school. It was the first one we could do because most schools in the South go back by mid-August, so those dates have never worked for us.

This years member cruise date in October I believe is more of a function of when the ship got back from Europe.
