Aug. 21, 2004 Eastern Magic check in list

Hi, Rex!:wave2: Looking forward to meeting you.
2 hour commute last night through a huge rainstorm. I think we might have passed alongside a cruise ship on the NJ turnpike.
Enjoy your weekend, all.

Mike

4 weeks from today, we sail away!!!

I had one of those pre-cruise dreams last night. After learning that our docs were on the way. In my dream, our docs had arrived and I discovered that we got an upgrade to a category 3 cabin. At first, I thought that was cool until I looked closer and saw that the cabin number was 3116. I woke up from the dream and said to myself, "This can't be true, there aren't any cabins on deck 3." I fell back to sleep and starting dreaming again, this time the docs stated that our cabin number was 4118, again I woke up and said the myself, "There aren't any cabins on deck 4 either." Then I said to myself, "Well, if we have a cabin on deck 3, or deck 4, at least we know we don't have far to go to eat!!!" LOL!!!

We will be at the Ron Jon on Fri. Is anyone else there? Maybe we could have a meet there also.

Also does anyone know if they show baseball (like the Cardnals) games in the Sports Bar? They are doing so well right now we will want to keep up with the team that week!

We are getting so close now, it is exciting!

We are also going with the suit and black dress option for formal night. For us that is dressed up!:D

Happy late birthday Shygirl!:teeth:

I can definitely relate to this - DW and I went on a cruise (Celebrity) to celebrate an anniversary last March (we were celebrating our 15th, although it was two years prior - - long story).

Anyway, I was going a little nuts trying to find out what was going on with the Big East basketball championship game and then the first round of the NCAA tourney (we tend to get a little nuts that time of year in Connecticut). The cruise line had a little sports bar and satellite tv, but it only got some international version of ESPN. So, I knew precisely what was going on in Australian rules football, but I had to scramble for basketball info. We were in San Juan doing the muster drill during the closing minutes of the Big East championship game and I was on my cell phone getting a play by play from my father!

I don't think that will be as much of a problem on this cruise, with ESPN being part of the Disney family.

I'm starting to feel like I'm going to be the last person on earth to ever get their docs.

I'm with you Denise and Debbie, still no docs here. Oh well though, I think last time it was about 3 weeks out until we got ours, so I guess that makes it next week. You guys didn't happen to book with MouseEarsVacations too, did you? :)

That would be funny Andy if you had a cabin on Deck 3 or 4, you'd be in the middle of all the action, hehe. We wouldn't have to go far to see you either, lol.

Have a nice weekend everyone.

Alan

I've been lurking on this thread occasionally and just wanted to tell everyone hi and looking forward to meeting you. Also, just had to say reading Mike's description of the document dance gave me a flashback to meeting him 16 years ago on another cruise line!!
  :sunny: :jester: ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo :Pinkbounc

Alan,

Yes, actually I did book with MouseEarVacations. Hopefully we'll get them soon!

Wow, I was just kidding about that. Maybe Tim Larison and his gang have something special planned for us (read: upgrade :yo-yo: )

Alan

We booked through All Seasons Travel. I talked to them the other day about our documents and it sounds like they go to them first. Hopefully, we'll get them soon...

We're staying at the Courtyard in Cocoa Beach Friday before the cruise (on points). Don't know if we'll be able to get over to the Radisson at 8, but we'll see everyone at the port in the AM.

Just picked up 1/2 price snorkel sets at Target for the kids. DH and I already have our own. It's a nice set, not a toy set, if anyone is looking. They were $15. They had adult sizes, too.

HOT HOT HOT

It was really hot here yesterday. It gotup to 103. Very hot. We stayed cool at the party. Along with the dunk tank, they had misters as well. I went in the dunk tank for the first time ever. It was a lot of fun.

Today is a lot cooler. Just 80.

Yesterday DH and I were saying that they weather that we had was something that we expect on the cruise. :) Not in Washington.

I've been having a nice relaxing sunday.

Hi all...

Still no docs here...I talked to my TA (AAA) and she said they come to her first and then she will overnight them to me...so hopefully some time this week With the move and everything ir might be better if I get them sooner rather than later so I won't LOSE them! We make settlement Weds!!

Vicki...you'll have to share the story about Mikes dancing. Does he have two left feet??:teeth:
