I can't believe your trip is in 3 weeks woo hoo.
I know your bags are going to be fabulous. I can't wait to see.
I love today's series of pictures.
Thanks Chiara! I am a bit of a wreck, but I will make it through.
I love, love, love that Mickey bag...so cute!!!!
I think you would be okay with just a sweatshirt. (if you are worried about space) I know our weather is not exactly the same, but we are in NC and I am EXTREMELY cold natured and I am fine this time of year just throwing a sweater on when I have shorts. Even when it rains it is usually still warm out.
Wow, three weeks, that is so exciting!!!! You will get it done. Don't stress yourself out
THank you! Yes, I think I will bring something just in case...
I love your newest bag! Mickey is just SO Disney!
Just a comment on the sweatshirt....if you don't bring one, you'll just get to buy a new one there......just saying?
How fun to book another trip before this one is over,, how about October 2014? Ruth
Thank you Ruth - LOL I haven't decided for sure if I am booking another trip - I am just prepared to do so in the event I recieve a good offer. LOL
I love that Mickey bag!!!!!! I say that everytime, because they are all great, but this is one of my favorites!!!
Can't believe your trip is so close, sounds like you have a good plan the next few weeks.
Love the photos, you're wedding dress is very pretty!!!
I only have 1 more week before summer break is over and I go back to work. Summer always go by soo fast. Enjoying my last week off sewing, swimming, editing photos, and going to the zoo. Enjoy your day!!
Thank you! I can't believe your summer is almost over! That is crazy! I sure hope you enjoyed it though.
Well you inspired me I made a bag today. Don't know how to do the appliques and bought prequilted material but what do you think of this for a first try?
You did a great job for your first try! So, is this your own pattern? Are you planning to use it for your trip? Thanks for sharing - I am so happy to have inspired you!
I am guessing your phone auto corrected and you meant "tease"? LOL If so, than yes... YOu would be correct! LOL
You definitely will not need a sweatshirt or pants down there, but I think you should bring one for the plane for sure. Dani and I bought a blanket in WDW for the ride home because we were so chilly on the ride down. Don't need more than one though...that's for sure!
LOL - I won't bring more than one.
Great job on the Mickey bag! It looks so nice and roomy. Love the lining fabric!
Thanks Lois!
Oh wow! You're wedding photo is beautiful! Love the photo of you all at LTT too. That's a favorite place for us.
Thanks!!! Yes, we love LTT - it's a must do for us for every trip.
I wish you lots of luck for getting everything done. I'm tired just reading what you hope to get done! I don't have any suggestions to make the lettering stand out more other than what you thought of to sort of outline them with a darker color. That might get tricky, though. Hope it all works out!
It was very tricky - but I did do it - and it definately helped. LOL
Yeah too much this next week and not enough time to rest. Oh and we just threw another play date into the mix with my SIL and niece and nephew!! Our dinner plans got cancelled tonight with them so we still want to get the kids together before they start school.
WOW! A lot going on for you these next 3 weeks! Can't believe your trip is almost here.
Always fun when you meet friends in Disney! Love the wedding picture! You guys look great!
Yes it's a bit crazy! But all in the name of fun at Disney - right? LOL I hope you take some time to rest.

So, I spent the entire day yesterday in my sewing room... I took barely a 15 min break to shovel in some lunch (I forgot about breakfast too) - I couldn't believe how much I got accomplished.
I was able to cut out V's applique, piece it and stitch it - all before "lunch".

After lunch - it was back to the grind again... And I was able to assemble the whole exterior of her bag... It is so cute - and I love a bag with a sense of humor!
Which took me right up to dinner... Josh has been watching lots of BBQ Pitmasters lately, so he's been honing his BBQing skills on us (which I won't complain about)... Last night he made BBQ pork ribs on the grill, with home made steak fries and Squash from our garden last year. It was just fantastic. I did have to give him a little bit of crap-ola about it though... He should not be feeding us such good food right before we go to Disney, because their food already pales in comparison to his... Now it will be worse. LOL
So, after dinner - I received some news I wasn't expecting... No one is hurt or harmed in any way - but I just don't want to go into details here. Let's just say that it really weighed on my mind a lot, so when I went to bed - my mind was spinning, and I couldn't sleep.
My loss is your gain, so I went back into my sewing room at 8:30 last night and began working on V's interior... Yup - you got it, I nearly finished her entire bag in one day.

I have about 30 minutes of work to do on it this morning - then it is DONE! WHOOT! I plan to have photos up for you all later today.
And if you've been following my grueling schedule - you will know that this puts me a day ahead!

Which is HUGE!!!!
V has an appointment right away this morning, then I plan to come home, finish up her bag and begin working on my applique for my first bag.
So, that's all... This week will be me slaving away, trying to accomplish as much as I can.

Time to bore you all with more photos... I love this first photo... Even though we look posed - we were not...
And if you decide to do MK commando... This is how you will look at the end of the day. LOL
Have a wonderful day everyone! Thoughts and prayers to all!
