I think October is a great choice! We avoid March/Spring Break like the plague We went a couple of weeks ago and it was still pretty hot and rained every day! It was fun, but October will be a lot cooler I'm sure!
We enjoyed Spring Break, we were able to tour in a way that the crowds didn't effect us. I was excited to go during Spring Break this year, but not as excited as I am to go in October... As you can see - I've already changed my ticker.
Liz...
The ONLY thing good about our school system... is we get 1 to 2 weeks out in October and the full week before Thanksgiving. Of course, we actually get a week just about every month! (and I still manage to take them out for Disney every year! LOL!)
Nini
LOL
So glad to hear the Max is back to his rambunctious self again!
I just sat back and watched the orders stack up for you on FB yesterday morning....your work is amazing, and you are in high demand!!!
Thanks Oopsi.
I, for one, am VERY, VERY excited to have you and the girls push your trip to October! That means I will get some D~, V and A time!!! I think our four girls will get along great!
I am too!!! We need to try to do lunch together one day. And I agree - the girls barely got to see eachother at POR, it was kind of crazy. I think they'd have a blast together.
LOVE that wallet!!! I love the way it is oriented! I had ruled out getting a wallet since I wear my cards on a lanyard as well. This has made me reconsider...
Honestly... I still have my personal wallet hanging on my lanyard from WDW, and I wear it all the time. Since I make them out of cotton, they aren't scratchy and they double really well as a pin trading lanyard.

There were many days in WDW that I wore the lanyard/wallet combo around my neck and carried my bag too - it just worked out really well for me to have it right there.
Would you mind sharing your Caramel Rice Crispy Treats and Caramel Rolls recipes??? I have been in a Fall baking frenzy lately...making apple cake, pumpkin cupcakes, apple crisp...caramel stuff sounds awesome!!! BTW~ can V eat them with braces on? I have to keep these things in mind for my DD13.
I posted the recipes for you yesterday.

And also my braces info.
Love the Donald wallet and lanyard. I was wondering if you could do Donald for someone else, but I think you have a pretty good collection. Love the red detail on the back.
Thank you Liz... Yah - it's not easy giving Donald up, but I knew I would have to do it someday.
The cabin you are staying in is awesome. It looks like a really nice place and I am sure that you will have fun.
Yah - I work at Target today, and less than an hour after I get off, one of my co-workers will be here to pick me up.. Thankfully I am all packed and have all my goodies made to bring with me.
Glad that MM is doing better. It sounds like he had a fun weekend with another dog to pal around with.
Me too, we were all so worried! We would have loved him no matter what - but it just would have been so sad.
I found this link for the Gartner convention
http://www.gartner.com/technology/symposium/orlando/hotel.jsp
I hope it works. I am not sure if it has the 2013 dates yet but I am sure they will soon. I think this week will be blocked for free dining. Last year there was no FD or room discount for the week of Gartner. We were able to get an AP discount but that was it
I was able to find some previous years info, and it does look like the week we need FD will probably be excluded.

FX that it isn't. I will keep an eye on the link over the next few weeks.
You can usually find the historical free dining dates on the wdwinfo website.
Thanks for all the goodies for Curtis. He is in "cat" mode so I know he is feeling better. I think his tummy has shrunk but I am trying to get him to eat and drink so we can ditch the IV and get home.
I am so glad he is doing better and finally home! I just can't imagine.
Cute wallet and lanyard!! Is he love struck or did he just get wacked on the head?
Thanks Tink... I am not sure... LOL Maybe both?
the donald wallet is cute!
happy Max is doing better!
yay for getting all your slots filled!
Thanks Lisa!
Glad MM is doing better

LOVE the Donald Duck Lanyard.
Caramel Rice Crispy Treats and Caramel Rolls ~ YUMMY!
WOW! On your bag orders. Cannot wait to see them when they are completed
Thanks! Yah - my schedule over the next year is quite insane... I try not to look too far ahead or I get really intimidated and scared. It's a LOT of work, and even though I am very happy to have it, it's also very overwhelming if I look at the big picture, so I just try to stay focused on a few weeks at a time.
Glad Max is back to normal. It's so hard when our pets are hurting!
No surprise that you filled your slots within a minute! Everything you do is so amazing! Too bad you're not twins so you could make twice as many bags Love your latest creation!
October is a great time to be at WDW.

The weather is warm enough to swim, but not so beastly hot. And a chance to go to
MNSSHP is always a plus. My favorite party!! Plus, all that extra time to save money never hurts.
Thanks Lois.

Yah - I'd love to clone myself right about now. Because I don't know anyone who would do what I do, for as little as I make doing it...
Love WDW in the fall - perfect weather - perfect decorations... And yes, the extra time to save some $$ is perfect.
I asked this earlier, but it was when Max had just hurt himself, so you probably missed it. I was wondering how you get your quilting lines so straight. I'm not a quilter by an means, so if it's common knowledge, forgive me. Also, is is a cardinal rule to never use pre-quilted fabrics? Thanks!
Sorry Lois, I did miss this. Sometimes I use my quilting foot - there is a little arm on it that hangs off the side. Otherwise, sometimes I use chalk to draw the lines, it really depends on which fabric I am using and what seems to work best.
You certainly can use prequilted fabrics, nothing wrong with them.

I am just too cheap, and I like to be able to choose my fabric and thread colors.
Love the new Donald wallet! Just makes me smile.
I am so amazed that you were surprised how fast your slots filled up. Do you really not know how amazing you are?? Really?? After all of us proud bag owners giving you RAVE reviews...you really don't know how good you are? Well...let me tell you....D, YOU ARE AMAZING AND YOUR BAGS ARE WONDERFUL! Honestly, next time you open up your booking, I will be coming back for a THIRD bag...that's how much I love them! I have a blue one, a black one, now I need a brown one so I can coordinate all my clothing. Yes, I am that annoying
Thank you again Suzi... This just made my day yesterday, and I was totally speechless.
Thank you too... You all just made my day. Thank you for all the support.
OK, dumb question, but are you talking about the frozen bread dough that you bake, or a regular loaf of bread? (shows how much I bake)!
Also, I was feeling a little guilty because I already have a bag and a spot coming up but after solana131's post I feel better
Yup - I just use the regular frozen bread dough... Although, yesterday was the first time I'd ever made the caramel roll recipe, and I think if I was to make it again, I would 1.5x the sauce, and save some for the top... When I baked it, the top layer of bread got a little crusty, and I like extra topping anyways. I also should have added nuts...
LOL - Don't feel guilty for wanting another bag... I am most flattered when people who already have one (or two), like them enough to want more... Then I really know that what I make is liked.
I just wanted to stop by and say that we are home from the hospital. Curtis is doing 100% better. His teacher stopped by and dropped off a little gift, a big poster from the class and a card from each of his classmates. He read each card outloud with a smile on his face. Then he sat and did all the classwork she brought for him. She said not to worry about it but he wanted to do it.
I need to go back and catch up but I might not get to it until tomorrow.
I am so glad that Curtis is home now... And how nice of his classmates to make him a card and poster. Glad he was able to get all of his homework done too.
Trying to get one of the slots for Ds bags is like getting an ADR for the most popular restaurant-shirts at Disney. You habeas to set your alarm and be on the computer when the clock strikes. I think Facebook was burning up this am with all the extra traffic and F5ing going on!
Congrats on getting all your slots filled so quickly, but I am not surprised
ROFL - you are so funny Liz! And thank you.
Yes, I might possibly have a purse problem.....and a Disney problem...put them together and I now have a D~ problem Hey, we all have our little addictions don't we
LOL I love ya!

Congrats on getting filled up so quick. I think you broke a FB record for the number of posts in under a minute
Glad he is feeling better.
I make my monkey bread different, but mine is made with biscuits in a can.
Thanks Michelle!
Yah - I am not sure I like how this bread turned out... I usually make it with the break loaves, but instead of layering the sauce, I think I would have made more and saved some for the top - the top got pretty dry when it was baking, and I like lots of sauce.
Glad to hear MM is getting back to his normal self.
Thought the new lanyard looked great. I love Donald's expression.
Thank you Sandra!
I work all day at my real job, so no sewing room today, or the next few days.
I was able to get a lot accomplished yesterday, and I also was able to get a lot of piddly stuff started, so when I come home, I can just get to work. It's really hard for me to take all these weekend off, when I know that I have so much to get done.
I've also been trying to streamline my business a little bit, and eliminate all of my "trips to Joann's for thread" or whatever. But there are a few items I get there, that I haven't found online - mostly because I haven't looked. So, I took a bit of time last night, and I found a few of those items online, so I ordered them.
Now, if I could just find a product similar to the Pellon heat n' bond lite tearaway stabilizer that I can just order online - I will be a happy girl. Oh and envelopes... I really need to order those too.
I am looking forward to this weekend though, we have been planning it for months. I hope I find some great Christmas gifts for people, and I also hope to find a couple of organizational things for my sewing room.
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend... I'll check in from my phone occasionally.
D~
