Auberge, Walts or Blue Lagoon?

Hi guys,

I'd like to take my mum out for a posh meal when we visit in August in one of the restaurants within the park - which restaurants have you guys tried and is the food good? Also, do any of them have smoking sections as my mum hates having a meal without being able to smoke inside when on holiday?

I'm just going to have a look at some of the menus online now

I would recomend them in this order:

Walt's: The best restaurant in the park! Try Walt's Gourmet burger and Cinderellas slipper for desert!

Blue Lagoon: Brillant atmosphere! Great food! You have to try the Cremè Brulée!

Auberge: Nice restaurant! Little Doughters will love it!

From this year on you can't smoke in any of the Disney restaurants!

What about prices, are they all kind of similar?

Can't comment on Walt's as I've yet to eat there.

The Blue Lagoon is my absolute favourite of the restaurants, wonderful setting and if you book ask if you can have a table on the beach.

Auberge de Cendrillon - I was extremely disappointed in this restaurant although to be fair there was only the buffet option when we ate there.

As far as atmosphere goes I would reccomend the Blue Lagoon. Check the menus as tastes in food are different.

I'm almost sure about the hotels, there you also can't smoke anymore! But I'm not sure about the village but I think there it will be the same!

And from 2007 you can't smoke in any restaurant at France! It's a new law!

All your choices are good ones but at a push I would go for walts or Blue Lagoon.

Now I look forward to that. Since the ban was introduced in Scotland pubs and restaurants have been a treat to go to

Well I'm trying to give up smoking so I suppose this is good news for me...Not so great for my addicted mum though! I must admit i was very ill back when we went in March and going in restaurants with cigarette smoke made me feel ill, so I can understand where they are coming from and to be honest am quite surprised they didn't do it earlier.

But back to topic! Neither of us are huge seafood (except swordfish and tuna) or burger eaters, we both like sort of Italian, good chicken or beef dishes...What do you guys eat when you go to any of these places?

Hah, we've not even booked the holiday yet and I'm planning dinner already!!

Walts does beef and chicken dishes.



I agree its great about the resturants been no smoking though, makes a meal much more pleasant.

the bars at DLH and HNY are still allow smoking.

thanks for the info wideeyes, my mum and I enjoy a glass of wine in the Fantasia bar in DLH so I'm sure the fact she can enjoy a puff here will make her happy

Yeah think Walts may be a plan - do you know what time they serve until? It would be amazing to see Fantillusion from there!
