Attractions that 'jar' you?

We are traveling with a person with a significant collar bone injury and are looking to hear from people about attractions that would be jarring - most specifically Flight of Passage, but some of the others that are the unexpected. Obviously, anything coaster like, for sure. Anything else you think we should know?

Stay off all of the coasters, the Tea Cups, Primeval Whirl, Mission Space, Dinosaur, Test Track, Kilimanjaro Safari. Those are the main rides that I would avoid in that situation. In fact, it would mean missing so much that I'd rather reschedule my trip...

Haven't been there since FOP opened, so I can't answer that one.

How come the Safari?

Please consult your provider, I know I would ask one of my patients to reschedule a trip to ANY theme park if they were recovering from the type of injury you are discussing.

Thank you so much, we have done this.

I would say the boat rides like Pirates, Small World, Mexican one (because the boats bang together at the load/unload), Big Thunder, Splash, Expedition Everest, Kali, Test Track, Dinosaur, Tomorrowland Speedway, Toy Story (in DHS).

I was originally going to say Mad Tea Party as well but as long as you just sit in the cup and let it go around slowly and don't spin the wheel in the middle you should be good.

Toy Story Mania! My then 4 year old got badly jarred at the end when we thought the ride was over and smacked his head against the side.

Buzz Lightyear maybe too.

You could also read threads that talk about pregnancy and/or bad backs and the rides...it would be looking at mostly the same issues. Lots more on the topic...

BTMR, Space Mtn, Everest, Dinosaur. Kali River Rapids have spots the boat may or may not bump the side. And 7DMT is smooth but often when coming back through the breaks are tapped with a pretty heavy jerk at final stop. Ask for a seat while on buses or monorail.

Definitely, 100% the boat rides. You'd never think of Small World being rough, but we made the mistake of taking my mom on it when she was frail and she wound up screaming at the end as the boats crashed together and then jacked up back into the loading area. That was the end of our day as she was in pain for hours. :(
