Attractions close to Disneyland

We are planning on driving from Las Vegas to Disneyland, then have the next day free to look around the surrounding areas of Anaheim. What is the closest towns? We were thinking of going to L.A. on our third day before returning to Vegas. There will be adults and our 20 month old daughter, so we don't really want to drive, but want to do things that we can't do in Hawaii. I can't find a map of California with the close towns, so any info. would be appreciated.

Well its more what do you want to do? More theme parks? More Beaches? Southern Ca has a ton of fun things to do but alot of it depends on what you want to do-
There is Knotts Berry Farm, Universal, LegoLand, Wild Animal Park, the San Diego Zoo and Sea World all within an hour or so drive from Disneyland for more theme park action There also are alot of museaums and such located more towards LA or San Diego- There is Wild Bills Dinner Theatre, Ms Knotts Chicken and Medivial Times along with Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney for fun dining- Lots of malls and such- They have lots of professional sports teams near DL- It really depends what you want to do.

A few of the cities close to DL are Anahim, Buena Park,Irvine, Newport Beach, Long Beach, Burbank, etc Look for a map that does counties and look for Orange County-
