Attn: Tax Cut Users...Anyone Else Run Into This?

Started to do our taxes last night, and things were going smooth (too smooth for me,lol).

When the Final Error Check was performed, I had 1 Error. Also had a couple of warnings, but Errors must be fixed before filing.

It was explained that the Child Tax Worksheet wasn't completed before my copy was shipped, and that I needed to download the update

Sounds like an easy enough fix, but the darn Tax Cut auto downloader wouldn't work and would lock everything up after a minute or two. I called the Turbo Tax tech. support, in the hopes of getting some help. After explaining what was going on, the person told me to use a friend's computer, and maybe it'll work then

After the call to tech. 'support', I tried the alternative download through Internet Explorer. It took some hours, but thankfully, it worked.

Mabybe I'm missing something, and this is common, but I found it strange that they (Turbo Tax) would ship an incomplete program out, and assume that everyone is capable of downloading the updates. If I didn't have internet access, it would've been a total waste of money.

I have used turbo tax for years and the first thing it always asked me was to check for new updates before we even started with with filing.
I'm glad youyr disney money is on your way.

My dh downloaded Tax-Cut and when he tried to run it.... it crashed our computer. He got a refund, and bought Tax-Cut at Staples and have had no problem with it.

Money to pay for Jack's teeth... on the way!
