Hello DIS Floridians! I am in the process of looking for an internship here in Florida in order to complete my Master's degree. My degree is in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology and my concentration is Human Performance. My expertise is in Sport and Exercise Psychology. I have experience with motor skill research, social psychology research, exercise research, and cancer research (specifically survivor's quality of life). I also have experience with designing and implementing exercise programs. (Also, my Bachelor's degrees are in Psychology and Exercise Science.)
I'm going tomorrow to talk with representatives from the American Cancer Society. It's my first choice right now, but I recognize the necessity to keep my options open. If anyone knows of anything that might be a possibility for me, I'd really appreciate a heads up (PM if you like). I'm trying to utilize all of my resources to search for opportunities.
