I forgot to subscribe to my own thread and all day I've been thinking...where are the foodies?? :confused3 Am I the only one locked up in the house under a tornado warning. LOL

Ok, so now I am catching up and decided, duh, why didn't I do a poll. I hope that those that have responded will still do the poll so I don't have to develop another spreadsheet with your responses.

Looks like LC is out. I don't think anyone has recommended it. Don't know why I hadn't considered Narcoossee's. I think because Citricos has just stuck out in my mind for a while.

We do all love seafood, but we also love duck (although it's often not prepared well, so I am hesitant), buffalo, and fantastic vegetarian dishes (more me, than DH). We rarely eat beef anymore, so DH will appreciate having a good filet one night. DD will also occasionally eat filet, but usually chooses seafood over beef.

DonaldDoleWhip thank you for your links, I am going to go read those now. I am starting to think AP is going to be one of our selections. DD will enjoy the ferry ride from CR and maybe we can book a carriage ride and visit the horses...she adores horses.

I love these foodie debates!!! I know that we wouldn't actually get "bad" food anywhere...but I need a few OMG this is to die for experiences.

We've always done DxDP, but I am heavily considering TiW instead this time...and have a spreadsheet for the price comparison. I am only leaning towards the DxDP b/c we can "snack" our way around the F&W Fest. But, then again, DxDP would just be one time and TiW would last for a year. We rarely eat at QS, the last time I paid $20 for a hot dog meal in MK, I thought I would die!

We are also booked for the TT Wishes Dessert Party...excited about that.

Thanks everyone who has posted so far...keep the reviews, comments, suggestions coming!

{shrug} I like the food at Narcoossee's and find it to be just about even with FF in both food and service. It's especially good if you're on the DDP and you want lobster. In fact, I like the restaurant theme a little better at Narcoossee's. I find it more relaxing than FF. Oh, and my favorite food on Disney property (the Almond Crusted Cheesecake) is at Narcoossee's!
Narcoosee's does have a great location. The few times I've eaten there I was not impressed with the menu. It just doesn't seem to be on the level of the other signatures. Is the cheesecake THAT good? Surely it can't beat the tofee tower at the HBD?

I wouldn't pass up a shot to dine at Flying Fish. It's truly a good restaurant, not just for Disney, but in general. Other than that, my other vote went to Artist Point. It's a place that I enjoyed on my first visit, and I've been wanting to give it a second shot for quite a while now.

I had to chime in on the cheesecake...we took our desserts back to the room after our meal because the kids had fallen asleep at the table. I crashed out with the kids as soon as we got to the room and about 30 minutes later, DH woke me up to try the cheesecake. Then he took a picture of it, texted it to his brothers and called his older brother to tell him what he was eating. So um yea, the cheesecake is THAT good to some people.

Ya'll are going to make me go to Narcoosee's. DD's fav dessert is cheesecake and if this is the best cheesecake in the world. We have to try it out. I haven't had lobster in a while. I guess I will give Narcoosee's another shot.

So, when I told DH I was cancelling our LC dinner ADR, he said as long as that's not where they have Mushroom Filet with Truffles. :confused3 So, I've found a way to work LC into a lunch...thank goodness we only have three palates / wishes to fill. :)

That takes LC out of the running for the 2 sig dinners. I think Artist's Point will be one choice...we've never been to WL, so feel like we should pay it a visit. Now deciding between Citricos and FF. Although, DH & DD are cheesecake lovers, so that is a plus for Narcoossee's even though it wasn't in my original list, but we are not big lobster fans which seems to be the main draw for people on the DDP.

Maybe I will just throw the names in some mickey ears and let fate decide. The reality is, they are all great in their own unique way.

I didn't think that FF had that many non-seafood entrees if that is a concern. Citricos had a nice mix IMO. Where are you staying? Maybe ease of travel can help you decide.

Nevermind - I just re-read your OP. I would say that getting from the CR to FF is more of a hassle and much more time consuming than Citricos or Narcoossee. I'd pick Citricos.

Staying at Contemporary, but FF would work well on our DHS day. Citricos would be very convenient. I agree that Citricos has a better variety.

Without looking back over all the menus...does anyone know off the top of your head if Ahi Tuna is on any of the menus (as app or entree)? That is one item that usually trumps everything else for DH.

Will have time later tonight to revew all the menus / food porn yet again.

Best cheesecake ever at Narcoossees! I don't take pics of food much at all, but took one of this!
Here's the pic!

We enjoyed AP & DH did really like the buffalo filet. Citricos was very nice, but we made the mistake of bringing our 19 mos old w/us. NOT the place for little kids. I would like to try it again sometime. We haven't tried FF yet, but it's on our list to try.
