Let me just say, we've spent most of the past 4 years eating at every character meal on every trip, so while we have eaten at many TS, not so much on the signatures. DD is outgrowing many of the character meals, so now she picks breakfast, we pick dinner!

We have 3 nights we can do signatures on our next trip. Jiko is a given, can't miss that. But, trying to decide between the following:

Flying Fish vs. Citricos
Le Cellier vs. Artist Point

Staying at CR, so transportation should not be a problem. Already have ADRs at FF and LC. But, after reading recent reviews of AP, I think we should trade. Our LC ADR is not on an Epcot day, so no biggie there.

We all love fish /seafood, DH enjoys a good filet occasionally, I do not usually eat beef, and we prefer to experiment with different tastes and cuisines. DD could live on salmon and is not a chicken finger/hamburger child (She orders San Pellegrino to drink, but will settle for Perrier and be ecstatic if they have sparkling Voss!).

Any advice from the frequent signature diners? Need to ease my obession :surfweb: over my ADRs and settle on a plan.

Citricos was an amazing culinary experience for my DH and I. Also the quiet, beautiful setting of the GF added to a perfect meal for us there!

I vote Citricos but Flying Fish is excellent can't go wrong with either choice.

I vote Artist Pointe for your other choice. However I have not tried Le Cellier as a signature yet (we always eat lunch).

Honestly, of the ones you have listed, I would go with Citricos and Flying Fish. AP is nice but it just did not appeal to us as much as the other signature options and although we had a great meal at LeCellier, we do not think that it was worthy of signature status so it will be a lunch option for us from here on out.

Citricos and the flying fish I would rank equal, you won't get a bad meal at either, and we have had some excellent meals at Flying fish (my fav). I have not been impressed any of the times I have eaten at Le Cellier so would give Artist Point a try (ADR may be easier to come by also )

I agree with the poster who suggested Flying Fish AND Citricos.

Is that an option for you?

I think that would be your best bet.

I've been to all the signatures multiple times (in fact, 2-5 times each this past summer). Artist Point is my favorite, without a doubt. I would definitely pick it over any of the other signatures.

Between Citricos and Flying Fish, I'd say Citricos. Very well executed food, even if it's less creative than Artist Point, Jiko, or Flying Fish. Plus, the service at Citricos has always been really great.

Citrico's and the Flying Fish would be my choice. I've always found Le Cellier overrated. Personally I've experienced some ups & downs at AP, but when it's good, it's exceptional...

Since you say you're a fish family, you may consider Narcoossee's in lieu of Citrico's. Now I'm not claiming that Narcoossee's is better, but they do tend to be more seafood oriented.

Nooooooo not Narcoosee's! Flying Fish is a million miles better than Narcoosees.

I concur a million times over! We really liked Narcoossee's and had a great meal there but it didn't make this cut for next year because it can't even begin to compare to Citricos, Flying Fish, Cali Grill and Jiko (our signatures of choice next trip).

If you all love fish/seafood I'd rank Flying Fish as a must do. Their signature snapper dish is incredible, and everything else we ordered was excellent as well.

As far as your other choice, I'd take Artist Point over Le Cellier hands-down. While I've heard good things about the signature menu at LC it is still the same small restaurant with tables packed in like sardines and I personally think that alone keeps it a notch below the resort signatures.

+1

Take the other two off your list, especially LC.
And please consider Blue Zoo if these dinners are OOP, as it is not on the DDP. It is better than Flying Fish amd easier to book.

We actually liked bluezoo a lot less than Artist Point, because our entrees (including the simply fish) were disappointing. I don't think bluezoo is noticeably better than Flying Fish, and I'm not a huge Flying Fish fan.

I would go with Flying Fish and Artist Point since your DD likes salmon. Citrico's is good, but a bit stuffy IMO and I have NEVER been impressed with Le Cellier.

From your choices I would say Citricos and AP

BUT

My choices out of the 4 would be Flying Fish and Citricos

My Dh and I loved Citricos. We were split on Flying Fish. I liked it more than he did, but he is not a seafood fan.

Artist Point over Le Cellier any day of the week...even though we have not tried Le Cellier as a signature restaurant.

I can't get DH to try FF again as we weren't impressed the first time. I have yet to experience Citricos.

{shrug} I like the food at Narcoossee's and find it to be just about even with FF in both food and service. It's especially good if you're on the DDP and you want lobster. In fact, I like the restaurant theme a little better at Narcoossee's. I find it more relaxing than FF. Oh, and my favorite food on Disney property (the Almond Crusted Cheesecake) is at Narcoossee's!
