I am here now and it seems that if you want to enjoy the pool at BWV I hope you enjoy a crowd. While they are allowing guests from SAB to use the slide while theirs is getting fixed, BWV guests are unable to use their pool. I totally understand under normal circumstances about not being able to pool hop there and agree. However with having to deal with more people at this pool it kind of upsets me. Just wanted to let others know.

I don't understand...are you saying that Beach Club guests can use the Boardwalk pool, but Boardwalk guests can't?

I'm missing something here...Tiger

Yes during the refurb of their slide there are more people coming from BC to use the BWV slide. However BWV guests are unable to go to use the SAB since this pool is getting quite busy.

When the BWV main pool was undergoing refurbishment, BWI/BWV guests were allowed to use SAB.

Thanks. Your original post was confusing...I just realized you meant "their" as in SAB. It's under refurbishment, so why would anyone else be allowed to use it? If it's only open in limited capacity, they have to place those excess guests elsewhere, and so BWV it is.

No one is allowed to pool hop to SAB, but I know that during BWV refurbishment, BWV guests were allowed to use SAB, just as Carol mentioned. That is a different situation, as there was no other large pool available for BWV guests.

I hope it works out for you, Tiger :)

It's only the slide that needs to be repaired the rest of SAB will be open.

Yeah, from the viewpoint of someone who's staying at BCV in about a week, I won't bother going to the BW pool. We only go down the slide once or twice anyway. Plus, so much to do and enjoy at SAB in general!

Same here... this will be our first stay at BCV and although we are disappointed about the slide (cause last year we were at OKW and the slide was closed!!!) I doubt we will make the trek across to the BW pool. Hope that makes you feel better! ;)

Thank you for the info. We will be at BWV next week. Sounds like we may have to exercise our pool hopping perk to another resort if the BWV main pool gets too crowded.

Others here who are staying at BCV in a little over two weeks and have no plans to go over to use the BW pool just for the slide...that is what our water park tickets are for :thumbsup2 Besides the whole clown thing just freaks me out :scared1:

We'll also be at the Beach Club in a couple of weeks, and have no intentions of going to the BWV to use the clown pool. We will just enjoy SAB - what is open of it, and hope that the renovations are complete before our stay is!

We just arrived home yesterday from a 3 day stay at BWV and although the pool was crowded during those hot (and I do mean 90 degree hot) mid afternoons, it wasn't a huge problem. There were chairs open even if they weren't right at poolside and I can't imagine that many people would lug all their things as well as their families over just for the slide - besides - we always find sometimes the more people , the more activity, the more fun - just depends how you look at things I suppose

I was at the BWV from 5/2-5/7 and have to agree with the previous poster. The pool was crowded but I didn't find it too bad and my daughter seldom waited more than 2 or 3 people to get down the slide and I had no problem finding a place to sit. I didn't even remember the BCV slide was closed until I read this today.
