Since we've been to the parks soooo much, will probably go to the Wilderness Lodge and have lunch and stroll, then over to the Poly for more strolling and have dinner at O'Hanas. Got to do a little shopping in between, too! A DIS Meet is the greatest!!! Would dearly love to go to one and meet some of you folks!!! I don't need to wish you a good time.....it's a sure thing!!!

I went to my first DISmeet, there were about 20 people there, I really enjoyed it.

"Hello"! Gosh, the echo in here is awful! Just where is everybody? Now I know 2 of you went to NYC for the week-end. I kept CNN on in the background listening out for anything out of the ordinary. One of our roomies who went to NYC seems to have a good head on her shoulders....nothing to worry about. The other one, well.....let's just say I'm concerned. Yeah, "concerned" is a good word to use here.

My fun trip to Disney on Friday came to a halt.....literally! Traffic was soooo bad that after the 4th complete stop out on I4, DH took the next exit and got us off. Ended up not being so bad.......we went SHOPPING!!!

Hope some of you return this evening and tell us all about your fun week-end. Am really missing you guys!!!

I'm still here. I'm working on a paper in the computer room. Needed some peace and quiet.

I did nothing exciting this weekend. My sister was in her school's musical so I saw that twice. Nothing big.

Well now, I know you got up really early on Friday for that internship fair. So, how was it? Learn a lot, dazzle some folks.....what???

The fair was an accreditation fair. All of the employees of the hospital of the hospital have to go through it. Apparently Thursday was busier, thankfully, because I was by myself on Friday.

I intern in infection control, so we do like a little quiz. I had to help the employees answer the questions. It makes me sad to think of what some of them didn't know.

But it was a great learning experience.

After I got out of the fair, I had to go to work for a few hours for a drinks meeting to decide and taste what is going on our menu. That was a lot of fun. Too long of a day, though.

Hello all. Well NYC and I both survived, we had a great time my BIL's nephew played pretty well(not as well as his dad would like) but they won 2 out of 3 games against Georgetown. When we arrived at our hotel on Sat. Night they had over booked our Hotel so poor us they had to put us up at The Ritz Carlton Battery Park, The only thing that kept going through my head as we walked into the lobby was that song from Sesame Street...One of these things is not like the others, One of these things just doesn't belong! The hotel room was unreal the bathroom was bigger than most hotel rooms I stay in! That night when we were going out to Time Square, the Doorman asked where were headed so we told him and instead of hailing a Taxi, he callled over the hotels car service so we headed up town in a Lincoln Town Car ! I was thinking if only I could run into momtomootoo now, we had a good time uptown bought a fake Rolex $20 hung around in a Irish pub for awhile grabbed a sandwich at the Carnigie Deli. All in all we had a great time!






P.S. On a more somber note: although I probably would have never hunted it out, our room looked right out into where the Towers once stood, so we felt we had to go by and visit, it is a very surreal feeling standing there looking into a hole where these massive buildings once stood and where so many lives were lost, but afterwards I was glad I went.

I say, "Come right in, Microcell....be happy to have you!" Until just recently, this place was bustling with activity. Lots of very interresting people coming and going. Great parties, silly pranks....just silliness that makes life fun!

So glad you had a great time, ED! I "listened out" while you were away! Thankfully, CNN had a relaxing week-end!

I think it's high time everybody got back here for a visit! This place "echoes"! All of you bored with the locale already? Got a suggestion on a great move? Let us all know!

Ed -- WOW! That sounds like a great trip! I've never been to NYC, and can't imagine what it's like to just hop over for the weekend. Sounds fabulous, though.

I watched my younger brother run track Saturday. All day at a HS track meet.....now that's loads of fun! He didn't do as well as he wanted to, but there were about a million teams there, so the competition was pretty stout. My 8-yr-old cousin stayed the weekend with me and we had a lot of fun. It was a busy, hectic weekend, and sadly it's over now and I have 5 days to go before I get another one.
