I just made ressie's for YS....He said it is a "resort casual" resturant. I don't remember if he said if we can wear shorts or not?

Can you, or is this more of a pair of pants and a polo shirt? WE don't want to look like a bunch of odd balls! :earseek:

Thanks for the help!

Travis

You'll see some folks dressed up a little more than normal, but most folks will be in whatever they wear to the parks. YS gets a lot of folks who are spending the day at Epcot who come over for dinner and then head back in for Illuminations, so wear whatever you'll be comfortable in!

I think shorts are ok as long as they're not uh...how shall I say it.....grubby looking. LOL I think it's easier for women to get away with shorts than for men.

I know I own some shorts that are dressier looking than others I have. I'd choose the dressier ones for dinner at the Yachtsmen steakhouse.
Enjoy your dinner!

I always wear "walking" shorts to YSH and never been any sort of problem.

Shorts are most definitely allowed at YSH. On our recent visit there I took note of what people were wearing because I know the subject does come up here from time to time. I saw everything from park attire(short & tshirts) to nice/dressy(pants with a button down shirt). Heres what we wore and I felt like we were middle of the road. ;)

Last time I was there I was in a wedding dress but usually it's nice shorts or capris and sandals for me and nice shorts or khakis for DH.

There was a wide variety of clothing when we were there in July. I wore a sleeveless top with a white skirt. Very summery but not exactly park attire. I did however see alot of people come directly from the parks.

If you ever catch me at Yachtsman's Steakhouse again, I'll most likely be wearing my best suit....Because I'll be dead.

Shorts were acceptable when I was there because they let me in without question wearing jean shorts and a golf shirt.

Camcolt- you guys look so great!!!!!!!!!:sunny:

I have worn both- shorts and casual and once a little dressier (sundress) I think you can wer whatever you want to wear!!!
