We are going to be spending a week at Beach Club next march, and I was wondering if I was going to get a cold glare when I ask "I thought we'd try Universal/IOA for a day or two. How do we get there?"

Anybody ever posed such a question of a DVC concierge..??

I don't think you'll run into any glares. I asked for directions to Sea World once and was given not only directions but a local map.

You will want to see the Guest Services personnel at the Beach Club front desk.

Or you could just go on MapQuest internet site and plot it out for yourself! :)

I don't think anyone really cares. Just ask for directions at the valet, they will usually provide you with a map with detailed directions.

We recently stayed at BCV for 4 days and went to a WDW park only once as my Florida seasonal pass was blacked out for the remainder of the days. Went to Sea World, Universal, and Alligator world instead. I can't understand the concept of blacking out entry into Epcot at night at all. Disney lost at least $200 of my dining dollars that would have been spent at Epcot restaurants.

JUST A NOTE WE STAYED TWO DAY ON PROPERTY AT UNIVERSAL IT IS WELL WORTH IT YOU USE YOUR ROOM KEY AND YOU GET TO IN ALL THE FAST PASS LINES WITHOUT GETTING A FAST PASS THE OTHER LINES WERE LONG AND WE WENT RIGHT IN IT WAS WELL WORTH THE STAY.. I WISH DISNEY WOULD DO THAT.

They will be very helpful if you ask. One thing to do for fun is to wear any kind of Universal clothing. Many of the CM's really kid you in a fun way. It makes for interesting conversation. So buy a Hulk t-shirt and wear it to the MK. You'll have a great time!
