Could you please wear pants that are NOT falling apart into the store? A tear in the seat that is so long that it gives full view of your skivvies is a clue that it is time to let go of your favorite jeans!:headache:

What?! You saw this at TARGET?! Are you sure this wasn't at Wal Mart? Okay, maybe the shopper couldn't find what they wanted at Wal Mart and came over to Target instead!;)

::yes::

Most definitely Target. Since i was not quite finished my workday at the store.... I can't imagine what we would have that Wally world would not:rotfl2:

I thought torn jeans were hip?!?:rotfl2:
The WORST outfit offense I think I ever saw was a woman at a waterpark (and actually swimming) in Wisconsin Dells. She was wearing one of those silky pj sets-cami top and shorty shorts-in a leopard print! There is no lining in those things, nor is there any support. It was cold and she was well endowed...

I think this PSA should be expanded to EVERY store!!

YIKES!:scared1:

But but but, I was led to believe that only the very finest folk shopped at TARJAY, and that the ripped clothing/underbelly of society always stuck to Walmart. HAs something changed?

Warning: I started a similar "do people think about what they are wearing when they go out" kind of thread and was berated for concerning myself with how other people dress.

According to most folks on the DIS, how other people dress is not your concern. Period.

Well was it a cute behind or not? That might change my opinion here.;)

That person might have paid a lot of money for those jeans. Fashion is kinda weird.

Yes, because bashing Wal-Mart shoppers is so cool...

Honestly, grow up a little and don't make fun of people due to where they shop. Not everyone has the money or choices that other folks do..

You never know the circumstances. One year I was shopping on black friday and I ripped a hole in my jeans. It took me two stores to find a pair of replacement pants that fit right. I think I did walk thru Target with a hole in my pants - but it was winter and my coat was long - thank goodness!

You do realize that the Op was having some fun with the situation. There were no names or compromising pictures and there was no intended harm to any individual(s). I think people need to lighten up a little and not take things so seriously.

TC.

You are a dedicated shopper! Black Friday is dangerous and your jeans were a mere casualty!

My sarcasm didn't come across in my post. Well the "wink" emoticon should have been a clue that it was tongue in cheek - there is a ton of Wal Mart shopper bashing here to hear of a problem at Target is just unheard of ... I personally find Tar-jay to be overpriced - and the closest one is 45 minutes away so going in there is a "treat" - even if there was one here I would still get staples at Wal Mart.

Sorry you didn't get the intent of my post. Thanks for straightening me out.

I am sorry that I did not "get it" on your post. Thanks for taking the time to explain it and once again sorry /blush
