Mary,
What do you think the odds are of the 3 day hopper plus pass being offered again? That's really all I need for our trip but don't want to loose out on the 4 day offer either!
Thanks,
Kim

Sorry, I really don't know. A ticket broker called Ticket Mania was offering those for one month recently, just to readers of my newsletter. TM buys its tickets directly from Disney and every so often Disney offers its brokers special passes of one kind or another. Sometimes it's a 3-day Hopper Plus, sometimes a 4-day Hopper Plus, sometimes the special 5-day Hopper Plus with 4 pluses instead of 2, etc. Typically these cannot be publicly advertised -- they are intended for private distribution, which is why they can only be mentioned in a newsletter, etc.

Sometimes the brokers don't have anything but the regular tickets you can buy at the gate. All of this is really at Disney's whim.

Quite frankly I've never understood why Disney offers tickets to brokers that aren't sold at the gates, but it's kind of fun that they do, once in awhile. Actually, you'd be amazed at how many "non-standard" Disney passes there are out there. For instance, people attending conferences at WDW can sometimes buy half-day (after 2 pm) passes, or specially-priced limited-time-period Hoppers with Disney Quest included, etc. It's all very complicated, and only Disney knows why!

I guess the moral of the story is, if you see a "special" pass being offered that you want (through a legitimate broker like Ticket Mania or FloridaOrlandoTickets) better snap it up, because there's no guarantee it will be offered again.

I was just looking at the disneyareainfo.com site in reference to a different thread, and they had the 3-day Hopper Plus listed. I believe the price was $169 for adults (don't remember the kids price). I don't know anything about them, but it may be worth looking at if you only need a 3-day. Here is the link to the page:

By the way, thanks to you Mary for everything you do to help us all save on our trips to WDW. As you can see below, I'm only 2 weeks out from my departure. I can't wait. I think I'm more excited than the kids.

Thank you for all the info-this really helps!

Paramount & Disney Area Info are actually the same.

We ordered our 10 day worldhopper passes thru them in early July. Used them in late July. VERY HAPPY. We didn't know if the DisneyQuest could be used more than one time but it could (one of the 10day perks). We couldn't find anyone from Disney at that time who could actually tell us because they said there are SOOO many tickets and they can't keep track of them all- so we just tried and it did.

Shipped via 2 day UPS. Signature required. I was missing the breakfast vouchers that were part of my package so I emailed and they sent them via regular mail. (Offered quick delivery but we had sufficient time). Package was somewhat battered but I believe from the appearance it was UPS's fault. Everything intact though. Tickets were demagnetized 2 times (daughter had those blinky earrings in my purse and i didn't realize it - they hook on with magnets). You place your order and then have to fax your signature on the credit card authorization form that pops up and that they email to you.

At this time, I have no hesitation in recommending this company.
