attention dyson users i need your opinions

If you have a dyson vacum cleaner i need some input. We have one and it has been a big purple blessing.It hasn't dies as of yet ,but i don't thinks its as good as it once was either, so with that said what one do you like best? I'm not sure if i want one with the ball or not i need the good and bad on all so i can make an informed purchase. Also if you have the animal one how do you like it please let me know.

If it isn't working as well as it used to, have you checked the brushes underneath?

I know our brushes get "clogged" with carpet fibers, string, etc and then they don't brush anymore. Try cutting all that off first and see if that helps.

Yes, we have to dig out the hair (pet and human) that gets wound up in the beater bars.

I have the pet version and love it. I agree with the others. I have to periodically clean the beater bar. At one point, mine seemed to not be working well. I took it apart and found that I had somehow picked up a pencil. It caused a clog. Once I removed it, it worked great.

We have had ours for 5 years.. it is still great. If I were to get a new one.. I would opt for the ball feature. As it seems to be a bit easier to move about. I really like our Dyson.

After 4 yrs my Dyson is not picking up like it once did. If I use the wand it sucks up great, the floor part is not sucking up well. I really liked it at first but now I don't think it was worth all that money if I have to replace it after 4 yrs.
