Hi All,

DF and I are getting married March 31, 2007 with a Cinderella themed wedding at home (we would have liked to have a DFTW but alas recent college grads and money don't seem to mix :confused3 ). We would like to send out Save the Dates this month and had decided to make our own since our invitations are rather pricey. Has anyone ever done this before? Does Disney make a program for greeting cards, etc.?

Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Bump

Has anyone else out there with any kind of theme made their own Save the Dates? I'm thinking it's not very hard to do as I know many make their own invitations. Any suggestions? Please?

Ummm I know with my custom disney sent the STD's (wow that came out bad! LOL) For us.

there's a disney computer program with clips & stuff that has been mentioned on the board before to use with making your own cards, newsletters, etc. hopefully someone else will read this & remember the name. you can also look online for disney art clips & buy fancy paper to make your own (we made our own stds which were rose & gold themed) or even look at hallmark or ebay for disney themed stationary.

depending on your budget for $100

:lmao:

Dboyfriend and i are in the same predicament lol.

My DF and I are making our own Save-the-Date cards! We're actually making save-the-date Magnents! I found a cute clip art online that I liked. Then I'm sizing it to fit on a business card. (Word has a make your own business card template) We're going to print them out on Card Stock (I think it's Avery that has perf. card stock) and then we got the peel and stick card sized maganents, that way everyone can put them on their fridge and not forget the date! We're also going to put our wedding website on the bottom so that they can go and stay updated about the wedding events, where we're registered, showers, etc. (weddingchannel.com has a great free site you can set up since you're not going to have a Disney wedding website!) Well, good luck! Hope this helps! :sunny:
