My wife and I are being relocated to the area. We currently live about 100 mi from there, so its hard to house/apartment hunt. My company wants me to do this at what seems to be an overnight pace, in other words we need you there ASAP, not at all realistic, but manageable. Since we will only be in the area for about a year or maybe 2, buying a house just is not an option. We would like to find a rental home if possible, but can only seem to find apt. listings online. Does anyone have recommendations for a rental/real estate agent I could contact to help. I lived in the area briefly for a year and a half in 2000-2001, but my has it changed. Thanks in advance for all your help

What area are you thinking of moving to? I have a great real estate agent- but it would be mostly Harford and Baltimore County that she works in.

Use www.homesdatabase.com

That site will allow you to search specific areas based on county or even zip code and has a spot where you can tell it to find only residential rentals.

When we bought our house we used this but it works for rentals too.

My job is in Hanover so we were looking at Anne Arundel & Howard counties to begin, but are open.
