Bring on the rain for 15 days!!!

I second that one. We need some rain. Let it happen now and be done before the cruise.

My kids have the whole allergy thing going on and couple of them were sick last week during school FCAT testing. Flu is running rampant here in our area and lots of kids have it, some missing two weeks of school. Mine are vaccinated so hoping no one gets it.

Haven't had time to think about packing yet. Did get the fish extender stuff done and documents came last week.

Next weeks goal is to dig out the suitcases and pack the formal wear.

That "cold" is going around here. In fact I have it. It is viral and takes about three weeks to run its course. At least that what most of the doctors notes the kids are bringing in say. Thankfully I am at the end of it.

We have to finish making our FE goodie bags. My goal was three deliveries and so far we have one days worth bagged. I know I will finish it up this weekend. It is all laid out it is just a matter of bagging it up.

Thanks for the rain! We got 7" of rain in ONE day on Wednesday. We were getting ready to build an arc! I thought it would never stop. Thankfully, our pool was low to begin with; now it's about to overflow. We're getting some passing showers today. I'll gladly take it all now so that we have a "dry" cruise. (Dry from rain, not Prohibition! )

It's now a 2 week wait, and I hate those! I'm getting impatient. I keep waking up in the middle of the night thinking I must have forgotten something major. I realized that I never ordered the adorable pirate t-shirts for my kids that I had seen on-line. Oh well. ::eep Breath::: I'm letting it go. I'd rather not have them than deal with the stress of hoping they arrive in time.

And if anyone wants to know what he looked like on our 1st 7 day cruise, 7 years ago, here it is. Don't think I'll get everyone in matching clothes this time.

My oldest son and nephew are both 16 and will be on the cruise. I'm sure they will want to meet with the other teens and hang out with their crowd more than with me and my sister. Our younger boys are all age 13 and I'm pretty confident that none of them will be wearing anything near matching shirts either!

Well we finished making our FE bags. There is one more FE project I am trying to work on the next few days.

We also finished all our crew gifts tonight as well. Now we just need to pack.

I had to put a hose in our pool today. So if you have that excess rain still lingering send it my way please.

We are trying hard to get excited, but we are so overwhelmed. We just finished the remodeling of the lower level of our house and now they are on the way upstairs. Plus we want to get stuff cleared out of garage so we can put our car back in it while we are on the cruise.

Well off to grade some papers.

Still haven't even started packing or even putting things aside. Fish extenders are still just fabric in the bag from Joanne's though we got a package in the mail full of goodies to disperse

Just convinced a friend to go with DCL and he's booking the May 9th. Taking his parents along and taking advantage of the FL resident rates. Can't believe they're running them into June now!

We have yet to start packing......we are feeling very overwhelmed.

But soon we will be sailing away.

Ugh, feeling overwhelmed here too.

So far behind on the day to day stuff who knows when the packing will get done.

Looking forward to just getting on the ship and relaxing for a week. Don't plan on doing too many "planned" things and no excursions booked, just going hang out.

Hope to see other Disers at port. Easy to spot us, we are the only ones who will have five girls and one boy in tow and usually I color coordinate the three little ones for the purpose of tracking.

My kids love to meet Dis Kids, so hopefully they will make some new buddies.

I'm all packed, the wife is not and she is totally spazzing about it.

We're hoping for a relaxing trip as well.

So the FE stuff is done. There is one last thing I really wanted to do for FE's and I think I may be finishing that tomorrow. It took a long time, but with the help of some teenagers I think I have it figured out....gotta love High School Kids.

We have thought about packing and we hope to get to it this weekend.

I am so tired I just want to nap, but so much to do.

We'll do our best to keep it warm. Right now, the long range I showing mid 80's right on through here in SW FL so it will likely be just a few degrees cooler in Key West and perfect in all of the other ports.
