As fr Grand Cayman if there are any snorkelers they have AMAZING snorkeling just a five minute walk from the ship and it is at my favorite cost FREE. If you get there early enough you can put your stuff on a chair or there are lockers available as well. Then hop in the water and go for it. I saw some amazing tarpin last November. So clear and beautiful over there.

Could you tell me exactly how to get to this beach from the ship? This is exactly the kind of thing I wanted to do when we go to Grand Cayman. Thanks.

Let me be clear this is not a beach with stand where the kids will play and you will be lounging. It is just a few feet from the roadway and there are maybe 20 chairs total. It is a perfect place to snorkel. You basically walk down some rocks and climb down the stairs into the water.


You tender off the ship and then walk off the tender ramp. Turn right and walk down the road. Here is the web address.

Thanks for the link. We want to do the beach, but this would be a good place to check out on our way to/from the beach. My DD10 loves to snorkel, but my DD13 not so much and my DH not at all. Thanks for the info.

I had to call DCL the other day so I asked about Movies. He was able to give me a list.

He said at this time the Hannah Montana movie is not on the list, but he would bet it will be shown that week as a PremEar at Sea.

However, they will be showing Hannah Monatan and Jonas Brothers Concerts in 3-D. Had I known I would not have gotten tickets to the Jonas Concert movie Friday. Bolt will also be shown in 3-D. When we cruised in November Bolt was shown, but not in 3-D.

When we were on the 14 Day Panama Cruise, we never found time to get to the theatre. At the time they were playing Prince Caspian, Iron Man, and a few others we had all intentions of checking out. We did watch severel on the Ariel View. (Pirates 1, National Treasure 1, Lilo and Stich, Pinochio, HSM.)

However, with 3-D at sea now, I'm going to try very hard to get in there and see Bolt, which we missed the first time around in theatres and heard good things.

I would also bet my wife is going to want to see Jones Brothers movie, as she likes them a little more than a 25 year old should!

Your wife can hang out with my students. I have a lot of teenagers in my classes that love the Jonas Brothers. I teach Chem and whenever we start up the Bunsen Burners the girls play Burnin' Up

Does anyone know if you need 3D glasses for the 3D movies? If so, do they give them to you?

Cruise: I'm sure my wife would fit right in...although, I think she's looking foward to getting away from the students! A little anyway, she love's teaching.


As far as the 3-D Glasses, I know the theatres do provide 3-D Glasses to their patrons, not sure how the cruise line does it. You definately need the glasses though!
