8 days of your parent callign you in a semster. Yes I've already went past them. pAST EIGHT THEY'RE UNEXCUSED (U GET ALL ZEROES) aND I've also already reached them (4 unexcused). Unlimited dr. notes

it is very stricted at my school
i have took this year 7 days off for my holiday i took one day off last year for my operation
and if i take anymore off unless i am sick yes there is trouble not just for me my parents wight get fined or even put in jail

oh man! my teacher is sooooo strict! if i miss one day, i get in trouble! then, i get suspended! then if if i miss 2 days, we get expelled!


nah, im just playing. im homeschooled so i really dont get in trouble for attendance! lol. although, i do have to log hours since i do an online homeschooling thing-a-ma-bob and if we forget to log attendance, we might get a point towards some stupid program thing and if we get ten points, we have to drop outta the school and go to public.

Pretty loose... I think if you miss more than 10 or 15 without a doctor's note you have to repeat the quarter. I haven't missed any until today (stomach flu ) and I'm missing thursday (WDW! )

Cutting three times is credit loss. 3 tardies is a cut. If you are out sick you are excused. It's not too bad.

My school is like whatever.
They call your house and that's pretty much it.
I've only missed 1 day of school this year.

Mine is pretty tight. We can't miss more than 10 days a semester. Once we're absent for a class 11 times, we attendance fail that class. And if we're late for a class more than once, we get a detention. I've missed probably 5 or so days this semester... once because I was sick, twice because I just didn't feel like going to school and three times because I went to Disney World.

Eh, it's not such a big deal in my school. The real problem is lateness. My homeroom teacher wll flip out if you're the least bit late. Like, she'll scream. It's gotten to the point where we can't take her seriously, because she's screaming about something that sometimes you can't help. She doesn't take excuses. But attendance isn't such an issue.

8 days a semester is allowed to stay on Nation Honor Society...any more than that gets a kid a "suspension" from the club. That just means he or she can't attend the meetings until things get cleared up.

12 days a semester for non-NHS members

If you come in late to school (it has been counted to the minute) you get a detention...no questions asked.

Something like more than thirty days you hve to redo the school year.
I'm not sure though, because I know people have missed this much, but they've never redone.

I haven't missed any days this year.

But basically, you miss roll call, they call home and then they realize that seen as no one picked up at home, so you must be at school. And then the teacher in that class freaks out on your for missing morning roll call.
I missed like 20 days in grade six because I missed like two weeks straight because of a stomach ache, and I went on vacation for like 2 weeks.

Attendence is pretty strict. I don't know how many days of unexcused absence = which punishment, but the next day they freaking hound you.

Tardiness, not as strict. It usually depends on the teacher. I'm late almost every day for algebra, but on my progress report it says I've only been tardy once. ( )

I find teachers lazy these days.
If you're tardy, they don't notice, and if they do, they just yell at you. They don't mark it, or punish you. They just kind of threaten.

I was seriously like 2 min. late and my geometry teacher told me to step outside. When he finally got out there like 20 minutes. He was like why did interupt my class like that. I was 2 minutes late! I t was even excused.... Huh how stupid...?

You are only excused if you have a doctor's note, went to a funeral, etc. You get 5 unexcused absences/semester before you fail any full-year classes. You get 3 unexcused absences/semester before you fail any half-year classes. I've only missed 2 so far this year, and they were both excused. But my problem is in a few weeks, I'm gonna miss 4 days of school to go on a cruise over MLK week. So, I'll fail my one and only half-year class if I don't come up with an excuse for my absences.

Strick.. well, if you're two seconds late, to science or spanish those teachers don't really care.

you're allowed 10 tardies and 10 absences each quarter before you have to retake the class. if you have medical issues, as long there is a doctor's note confirming the condition, you're ok.
