I just reported an attempted scam and got this message from vmk:

If you feel it was an unfair trade or a scam, report it in the main VMK site using the Contact Us link. They will look into it. Be sure to list what was traded as well as the charcter name of the person involved.

VMK didn't understand what I was trying to say. This girl asked me in a trade window (while we were in a trade room) if I had a crown. I do have an extra, so I put it in the trade window. She proceeded to put up a bunch of common stuff and ONE SINGLE boat teleporter. I told her that I don't trade for teleporters, let alone a single one without its match. Long story short, she tells me that if I put the boat teleporter in my room, the other one will "appear." Of course, I tried to tell her otherwise. She "promised." LOL! then she demanded "Give me my crown." I exited trade and reported immediately.

My point is, I feel we are extremely limited in what we can say in that report window. I tried to convey what happened, but staff misunderstood. I didn't complete a trade with this girl, so I lost nothing. Maybe this incident doesn't rank very high on the "serious scale," and that is why I got a canned message. I rarely, rarely report. I'm not sure I'm going to try it again.

I get a lot of trades like that. Were you in a trade room? Or just in someone's room? This happens to me a lot in someone else's room, it rarely ever happens to me in a trade room. If it does happen I do this:
Me: hi
Girl: is your crown for trade?
Me: No
- exits close trade window -
- Girl asks again -
- I ignroe -
This may be rude, but I hate when I get so many trade requests like that..

I also wish we had more freedom in the 'report' window to write out exactly what happened....

But I am at the point where I only report if a person is claiming to be staff Or is saying very mean voilent (sp) things....
