We are arriving on Christmas Day ...flying in at 11am.....what park would be a safe bet for admission and any dining suggestions with/without candle light processional......thanks

We flew in about the same time on Christmas Day in 2009. We went to EPCOT and had a 2pm lunch at Rose & Crown. Sat outside and loved every second of our meal!

We then treated ourselves ... well, actually Mom treated us via gift card...to a great later dinner at Il Mulino. Really can't think of a better way to spend Christmas Day!

It was very croweded that week which we planned for. We had either a later breakfast or early lunch at a TS most days and then cut out of the Parks for a Signature dinner. One thing we did not plan for was the cold ... it was freezing! Coming from New York, we expected nice warm weather. Not what we got that year! There were only a couple really nice, warm sunny days.

Not sure if you are staying thru New Year's Eve. But on the 30th we ate at CRT and then watched the special fireworks in the MK. We spent the 31st in EPCOT and had a blast. Had dinner at 6 in the Biergarten. Didn't realize that that was when it would be New Year's in Germany. All the cast members sang, hugged & cried. We were given noisemakers early. It was really a memorable meal.

Thank you so much for responding! I really appreciate and found your suggestions helpful! When we were there this past August it was in the 90s with high humidity day and night so I wouldn't mind cooler weather!

We usually go in August as well and also thought we would enjoy the milder weather but from what we were told it was unseasonably cold and we were chilled to the bone most nights after the sun went down. We just weren't prepared mentally or with the proper clothing to be cold!

On Christmas day most people head to MK and Epcot. MK will reach capacity by mid morning. So if you like being where the crowds are go to one of these parks. If you want to avoid the bulk of the crowds try AK or DHS.

I would also recommend HS or AK. The masses tend to gravitate to MK and Epcot. Epcot is a huge park though, so you might have a nice afternoon there. You could always consider an ADR at a resort...Grand Floridian has many choices and it is so beautifully decorated! You must see the gingerbread house!!

Personally, we're planning on AK on Christmas Day. Probably have an early lunch at Yak n Yeti, and dinner at one of the resorts. I'll make my ressies 6/27 at 5 am. Ouch.

We also had xmas dinner at Il Mulino last year and it was the best meal of all xmas week trip!!!! Including Le Cellier!!! We are arriving 12/24 and styaing one night at Swan before checking into VWL for out 6th xmas week trip and plan on having xmas dinner at Il Mulino again on 12/25....we also have $25.00 restaurant.com gift cert that we will use...can't wait.

We have also enjoyed xmas dinner meals at Artist's Point and CG (we usually do not go to a park on the holiday).
