Attacking the world with a 3 year old and a toddler!!

HELP....

Our video camera decided to bite the dust this Christmas...so...we are looking for a new one. Preferably a DVD or miniDVD one. Anyone wanna help me look for one? I'm clueless...we are hoping to keep it in the $250 area.

On a brighter note...i just checked Southwest's website and rebooked our flight for a $60 credit. Not sure what I'm gonna do with that credit yet...but hey...I GOT IT :-)

Congrats on the new flights! :cool1:

Hubby and I also enjoyed our last trip to Animal Kingdom, however we thought Nemo, Garden Grill, and Test Track was enough to warrant a Epcot adventure. I really enjoy checking out the countries, as does DH. I will run it past DH...Thanks for the input!

Happy New Year Everyone!!! We welcomed in the new year with some very close friends, it was a GREAT TIME!!

Today I am off to return a christmas present and HOPEFULLY buy a new video camera so I can become aquainted with it for our trip!

On another note, our 3 year old will be having surgery when we return from our trip to florida to correct his sleep apnea. We could have had it scheduled before vacation, but we chose to do it afterwards.

We got a new video camera....i opted for a Hard Drive model. Its blue and looks pretty cool, I'm hoping that we will be happy with our purchase.

My parent just book Fort Wilderness for Feb 8-11th and we have invited them to join us at Magic Kingdom on Tuesday.

Im busy trying to get travel documents, coupons and organizing paperwork for our trip.

I couldn't be more ready to board a plane and head for disney then today. Its 7 degrees here and we have a windchill of NEGATIVE 15!! That is COLD for St. Louis! The coldest it has been here in years! I have become a hermit in my house...I DO NOT LIKE THE COLD!!!

We have 22 days until we leave! I'm getting soooo excited!!

If there is any lurkers please post, I feel like I'm alone here on my pre trippie!

:wave2:

First off I'm glad I found your TR!!! :goodvibes But I am still disapointed that we are going to miss eachother!! Our little guys would have had fun together!

I can't belive how BIG Autin is!!!! He was just a little peanut in your last TR! And Alex is a cutie!! I love his 'ugly people' t-shirt!! :rotfl2:

Only a little bit longer for both of us!!

Also - hate to tell you but Fort Wilderness doens't have a petting zoo anymore. But they do have ponies that you can have Austin ride - so it's still fun... just not as cool as it was in the 80's (but really now... what is?)

:guilty: I'm heart broken that the petting zoo is GONE!!

:confused3 Sadly I am allergic to horses so we will be avoiding them...

20 more days!!!:cool1:

17 more days!!!!

Ok, a few quick updates...my husband threw his back out...he is recovering ok...we are hoping that he will still be able to make it thru vacation.

WE GOT A PUPPY!!! dumb timing i know...we now have to find someone to watch him while we are gone.

My son turned 1 this week so we have been busy partying!!

My sister is taking us to the airport...my husband is supposed to call his dad tonight to see if he can pick us up.

YAY!!!

13 more days....

There was a bunch of layoffs at my husband's job...and as a result my husband has been demoted...

This is rough and we have considered cancelling our trip...but after much thought we decided we are going to go ahead and go. Things are gonna be tough, but the vacation is already paid for and who knows when will be able to go again.

Just seeing your PTR now. Sorry to hear about your husband's job. I guess it could be worse though. Try to just enjoy your vacation.

Your pictures of your sleeping son at WDW made me laugh. My DS was 19 months when we went in Sept and he slept a lot also! The heat and stimulation, plus the sharing a room with us just wore him out! After breakfast we were lucky to make it to a park before he was ready for a nap!

It could be worse, that is why we aren't trying to get TOO depressed over it, but he will be making less money now and its gonna suck. We are trying to keep our minds off of it by thinking about Disneyworld. Hopefully we will forget about everything for a week so that we can be in a fairy tale land while we escape reality for awhile.

We are expecting our youngest to sleep alot on this trip. He typically takes a pretty long nap in the mornings here at home. My kids are used to sleeping where ever so we don't usually head back to the room. We just find a shady spot in the park and chill. One person usually does a ride or something while the other stays with the child.
