Staying at BLT right now. I can see a crew on the site from my balcony. Don’t know if it’s reflections related, but seems they’re doing some preparations
Edit: I took a high resolution photo but the site won’t let me upload it.

Sure would be. Tower of Terror was relocated after construction had already started due to the ground being unstable; it’s not like this is unheard of with central Florida swamp land.I mean, maybe?
But that essentially means that the civil engineering firm who did the site survey is incompetent, because that is a very big and very expensive mistake.
These would need to be located inside Canada at Epcot. Even better to enjoy the proximity and the scenery! They'd never... but here's the permission they'd need to pull off a wilderness castle hotel.

Let me introduce to Bay Lake Tower.Has Disney ever started construction on a DVC hotel before announcing it before? Is the delay in saying anything likely because they are in the midst of announcing Poly Tower sales?
I mean, they did a good job with a 199.5ft “Mt Everest” so it would be cool to see them do something like that at a resort sometime.I'm sure the Disney Imagineers will be able to replicate that mountain exactly!
You’re not wrong. But needing to tie it into Wilderness’ in some way limits the options.Seems like it is back on.... Maybe it will have a new theme... Seems to me there is enough "lodge" type of theming going on already....

IMO they can’t do another log-frame theme since WL has that on lock. It kind of leaves the Canadian chateau theme, or whatever they were trying to do with the Reflections first draft. I mean, a ski chalet style (stone + timber beams, not log style) isn’t bad, but when you try to translate that to 10 floors it could end up looking like the Overlook Hotel![]()
This seems like a prudent move. The CFW-Reflections connection is a whopping bit of uncertainty to wave your hands at.With all this new activity on reflections, I am canceling my pending CFW contract for a favorite week in December. I want to know what Reflections means for DVC (e.g. lower CFW dues?). If I have a contract choice between a Reflections waterfront cabin or an interior loop cabin (with views of other cabins), that will make a difference to me and worth the wait to figure it out.
That said, I’m full steam ahead on a favorite week in December at a deluxe studio TP view at PIT!

Agree on all counts, it could be a huge difference. I wouldn’t rush into CFW.This seems like a prudent move. The CFW-Reflections connection is a whopping bit of uncertainty to wave your hands at.
You never know what kind of incentives they may have if/when R2.0 opens.Would there be any advantage to purchasing CFW now before there's any connection made to R2.0 or will it make no difference in getting in cheaper...assuming you wanted in on R2.0 and were assuming they made it part of same association/trust.
In theory you could get it at lower pricing - but it’s a huge risk to assume the trust model will loop it as one resortWould there be any advantage to purchasing CFW now before there's any connection made to R2.0 or will it make no difference in getting in cheaper...assuming you wanted in on R2.0 and were assuming they made it part of same association/trust.
