Attack of the 5 pound lapu lapu.....I LOVE IT!!!!! Updated 1/20 Photopass pics

No, but I have always wanted too. We still haven't even been to the Georgia Aquarium. But, we have been to Stone Mountain. I really like to watch the laser show!!! Are you guys gonna go?

I took Sophie to Georgia Aquarium this summer when we were in Atlanta whilst the others did the city segway tour. The aquarium was amazing, easily the best we have ever been too. We both loved it and had such a great time together. I booked the backstage tour for part of Sophie's birthday present as she is an animal freak and wants to be a Marine Biologist (as well as Killer Whale trainer at SW, safari guide at AK, and MK princess) and it was so interesting, we loved it. The whole aquarium is set out so well and so colorful, and the Whale sharks are an amazing sight, we watched them for ages.

We went to Stone Mountain too, and again loved it. We brought the pass for all the attractions and managed to get most things done, apart from that adventure course/playground thing. The view from the mountain itself was amazing, it was so peaceful and beautiful up there. We were there on the Sunday before Labor Day so it got so busy in the afternoon for the lazer show, every bit of lawn was packed. People were sitting there from morning onwards, no joke :confused3. Luckily we had booked the reserved seating and turned up 30 minutes before and had a great view. The show itself was brilliant. I never expect much after seeing Disney shows but we were all really impressed. It was so clever, and so, so patriotic, we loved being part pf the atmosphere :thumbsup2

Next year we plan to take the others to the Aquarium so they can see it, and also probably visit WOCC as we were suppose to last time but the queues were so, so long (they were actually stopping people entering the aquarium when we were leaving). We hadn't planned to go to Stone Mountain again as we want to try 6 Flags, but might do it on our last day again as it was such a nice way to end our holiday, especially with the lazer show.

Ok, on to your decorations. I love, love, love them :goodvibes. They are so cool, santa definitely wont be missing your house this year :lmao:. Hollie must love them so much, they are s much fun. I think you should now jump on a plane and come and do my garden for me, its very bare and sad and needs cheering up with some decorations ;). I will supply the cocktails, I'm sure I can even make a few Lapu lapu's :woohoo:

glad to hear the lapu lapu did not disappoint! i'm definitely getting one next month. then i will have to recreate the recipe at home after that because i'm taking a hiatus from disney next year and i will be craving it!

wow.....i can't believe you guys drove all night! i probably just wouldn't have gone to bed at all. i don't think i could've woken up at 1:00 a.m.! i'm so awful once i get to sleep. i'm impressed that you guys could do that....

 :cheer2:

These are really cool!

That's pretty good. I did ride this thing over and over again when we went. If Dawn and I ever make it to the end of our TR :headache: you'll see :yay:

But I am determined to ride this thing until I get stuck at this scene. Then I can get some good pics. I've been stopped in several places, even on the backwards part. So I will do it again and again and again :upsidedow and  every minute of it!!

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! :goodvibes

The house looks great too....you guys are all ready now!!!! :)

Thanks Erica!! Oooh, I would be so happy if I got stuck in the ballroom scene! I usually only get stuck backwards going into the graveyard scene!:lmao:

Should we say Clark???? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Yes maam!!!:rotfl2:

Keep on putting it off and I wont get to read it before we go. :worship: Now girl!!! I want me one of them Lapu things! :goodvibes I need to show you the darn costumes...I keep forgetting. :sad2:

I am going to do another one tonight, I promise!!:goodvibes

I am glad you liked Stone Mountain! We have been wanting to take Hollie because we know she would love the laser show!

Thank you!!!!! I would love to jump on a plane and come and decorate your garden!!! I would be out there all day doing something!:rotfl2:

Oh yes, I was so happy with my lapu lapu!!
Yes, we always drive all night! I just want to hurry up and get there. We are actually thinking about leaving on the Thursday afternoon when we go in February. That way maybe Hollie will sleep this time!:rotfl2:

Okay, so last I left you we were going back to our room and I did another wake up call (aren't I a stinker!!! )

So, we got up bright and early to get to our ADR at Crystal Palace! We left the hotel at 7:15 am and arrived at MK at 7:40 am. We got in the character breakfast line. Well, they started to let us in and line up near the stroller rental. About 7:55 am they started to let us in!! Whooo hoooo!! There was only about 6 people in line in front of me. Well, some how I got to be the very first, check that, VERY FIRST person walking down main street!!! BY MYSELF!!!!! Chad took the picture of me walking ahead of him to check us in:

100_2164.jpg

Okay, weird! For some reason my pictures are acting weird on photobucket. I will be right back!

Um, Heather? Where'd you go? :confused3 Let me just say it now...YOU are NOT allowed in my hotel room! :rotfl2: You and those early wake up calls! :lmao: Did they get mad at you?

You should definitely take Hollie soon, there is so much to do there for children. Sophie loved it, especially the mini-golf, the pedal boats and the farm play bit (where you shoot and collect balls in various ways). She really wanted to the rope course thing but we left it till the afternoon and when we went back the queue was 90-120 minutes for only 1 level... um, no thanks :sad2:

Ok so what happened to you last night. I logged on this morning to find you had started another day and then disappeared :confused3

For some reason, photobucket wouldn't cooperate! It is now!!!

LOL!! I wouldn't do it to you!!! Only to my MIL!!! They never did get mad thank goodness!!

Oh my gosh!! 90-120 minutes!!! NO thank you!!!

Well, photobucket wasn't my friend last night!!:rotfl2:

Okay, so now that photobucket is acting righ again I will finish!!

I last left you with me hauling bootah down mainstreet!! I was the one on the far left! lol!!

So, I go and check us in at CP while Chad takes some pictures.
100_2165.jpg

Then we take one of each other!

100_2167.jpg

100_2168.jpg

Then I decided to take some pictures!

100_2171.jpg

I thought these were really cute and artistic! lol!!

100_2172.jpg

100_2173.jpg

We were like the 4th family called in! Yeah!!! I thought we would be the first since, ahem, I was the first one to sign in.
We were seated to this:

100_2174.jpg

Aww, really cute!! They gave us a certificate signed by all the pooh characters too!

We got up to fix our plates!

100_2175.jpg

I just took mine since it is neater! I don't like my food to touch! lol!
I had the biscuit with sausage gravy, corned beef hash which was really good, bacon, and the breakfast potatoes.
Then I got some fruit!

100_2176.jpg

I decided to try the breakfast lasagna and it was not really my thing. It was really greasy!

Next the characters came out!

After we finished in there! We went to rope drop inside the castle.
100_2184.jpg

Once they let us in we rode:

When we got off, we saw Donald at his tree farm! He was really funny! He did not, I repeat, DID NOT like Chad's shirt! When we walked up to him he stomped his feet and pointed at the shirt. Then during the picture he covered it up with his arm!

100_2205.jpg

Next, we killed time waiting on rope drop in toontown by riding the teacups!

100_2206.jpg

100_2207.jpg

I love this one of Chad!

100_2211.jpg

We got in line at 9:30 for Toon Town. I waited in line while Chad walked around Fantasyland. Finally, some CM's came up and said that they would walk us, no running or going in front of them, to Toontown's tent. This would happen at 9:45 they said, and that is exactly what happened! We immediately went for the Fairies line. We waited maybe 10 minutes and we were the 6 family in line. Now, once they take the 3 families from the line, you gon into an area to where you are being shrunk pixie size! You hear a baby laugh and you hear Tink flying. It is really cool and the paintings on the wall....OH MY GOSH!! So, it was our turn and the first fairy we flew too was Iridessa, she was so sweet and nice!!

100_2215.jpg

She talked to us for a couple of minutes and then flew us to Tinkerbell:

100_2216.jpg

She wanted us to pose like her! But, she could not quit staring at Chad. She looked at him and then at me and said, "OH my, he is so tall!! I think they didn't use enough pixie dust on him!!" She was so cute!! She then asked me if I was evil. I had to look down to remember my shirt said evil queen!! lol!! I told her that I wasn't really evil, I just had to wear it!
Next was Rosetta and she was really nice!

100_2217.jpg

Then it was off the see the man himself! MICKEY!!!

100_2218.jpg

But, to our surprise look who he had with him!

100_2219.jpg

When we left toontown, we ran into some silly folks!

Ummm... Next post please! :goodvibes I'm having such a good time reading your TR. I can't wait to leave on Sat.

You have such amazing pictures. Where were you standing at when you took the "artistic" pictures? I'd like to try a couple of them myself. :)

What part of GA are you in? We live in Roswell, right on the Alpharetta border.

Awww, thank you so much and I am really glad your here!! :welcome:

I was actually standing on the porch at Crystal Palace when I took those!!! I just saw the Christmas decorations on the columns, so I was like....hmmmm let me try this!! lol

We are in Dallas! Do you know where that is?

I too love the picture of the ornament and castle in the background. Good job being artsy fartsy!!!
I want to see the fairies when we go in June and I want to eat breakfast at the Crystal Palace.

These pics are sooooooooooooooooooo cute of ya'll! That's so cool that you got to meet the fairies (and fast too) but this girl wont be taking pics with them. They're so tiny...I'd look like a huge fat cow beside them. :lmao: You guys are doing a lot and fast this morning! You met a lot of people...did a lot of rides...I hope we can do that too. I can't wait to see the rest.

I just find that pic of you movin it down Main St just hilarious. :rotfl2: You left poor Chad all by himself. It must have been a really cool feeling to be one of the first.

The castle pics are lovely. I really like the fancy/artistic ones. Very neat. :thumbsup2

Your breakfast with the characters looked like alot of fun. You look pretty as always. The confetti heart was just too sweet.

I was so excitted to see the Tink pics. How cute is she...and the fairies are adorable too. I hope it's still there next year. :cloud9: It looks so beautiful.

How lucky to get Mickey & Minnie in the same pic!!!!

You have peeked my curiosity, what's in the WDW shopping bag? :)

The pictures of you and the fairies are terrific!! I'm glad you got to see Tink and friends! I love all the decorations on Main St. and at your place!!

Great photos of an empty Main Street and breakfast at Crystal Palace!

Oh it was!! My heart was pounding as I was walking down Main Street! It was just so surreal! I hope it happens that way when we take Miss Priss in February! Of course, she would just take off running like a wild animal!

I love the CP breakfast! I just love tigger! Aww, your so sweet! I keep looking at the pictures asking Chad if my eyes look swollen!! :lmao:

Tink was sooooo tiny!!!!!! I mean, I bet she only weighed 80 pounds soaking wet!!!!!!!!

I was really excited to see Mickey and Minnie together! We have never been that lucky!!

lol!!! They gave us a certificate at CP for our anniversary and I didn't want it bent, so Chad asked for a bag. Then they gave you fairy tattoos when you met the fairies so that bag came in handy!!! :lmao:

The pictures of you and the fairies are terrific!! I'm glad you got to see Tink and friends! I love all the decorations on Main St. and at your place!!

Awww thank you! We were excited to see them!! They were just so cute!!!
