When do we give them the CC # that we will use to pay for all our onboard stuff (drinks, souveniers etc...)
We used one card for our deposit, but we don't want to use the same card for our WTTW. (lower available credit LOL)
They won't just assume that the card we used for the deposit will be used for everything will they?

I would imagine it's at the port when you get your Key to the World card. When we stayed at All Stars Movies last year, they just printed the card up at check-in, asking us if we wanted to charge items to the card thereby needing a credit card #.

When you receive your documents there is a page in there that you will fill out with your CC # to use for all your charges.

And until the day before last day you can go to Guest Services and change your method of payment, i.e. cash or a different CC.

Is it correct that you can use different CC for different family members that are in the same stateroom?

I don't belive so. Others with kids with charging privledges have had this question in the past and another similiar question is can the kids have a daily limit placed on their cards. Again I believe that the answer is no.

I believe that you can pay for your room with one card and have your room charges on a different card.

This can be done on the ship only. We did this when we shared a cabin with my parents.
Also, charging privledges can be removed from a child's card. DCL can not set a limit to be charged to each card.

When we were on the Wonder after Christmas last year, they charged my card 2 or 3 seperate times. It seems once i hit $250 or $300 in onboard charges, they would charge my card..So if you wait until the last day and racked up some charges, they may have already charged the originally given card...

bemily is correct....on each ship there is a charge threshold...once you hit that threshold they automatically charge the credit card you placed on the account at check-in. I believe on the Magic it is $400.00. The Wonder may be lower, I am not sure.

You can stop at Guest Service at any time 24/7 and get a print out of what charges you have...it is even broken down by person in your cabins. You can see exactly what was charged where, when and by whom. Suggestion...the last night and the morning before you debark Guest Service is a zoo with long lines. Try to avoid that time.
