ATM's in UK question

Hi, we'll be in London next week and I have an ATM question. Years ago, our debit card would not work in the ATM machines, because we had a plus card and not a sirrus card. Does anyone know if the machines in Gatwick Airport take plus cards..or can someone who will be going through in the next couple of days, and have access to a computer look, and let me know? We planned on getting our money from a machine, since out account doesn't charge (and reimburses any charge the machine has) for using ATM's. Thanks so much.
