? Atlantis

I wouldn't listen to the guy after he didn't answer my question for the 5th time.

We visited Atlantis this past Feb. We stayed at the Hotel (Beach tower) not the Harborside, although we walked around the Harborside and it looked great!

However, although the place IS amazing, I have to disagree the cost of food is comparable to WDW.

We thought it was incredibly excessive. There were no meals less than $50 (I'm talking lunch at the pool). $7.00 for a bag of grapes!! (we are still laughing about that) Sit down dinner at any resteraunt was easily over $100 closer to $200..This is just myself,DH and my 3year old. And I am pregnant so this isn't even including a bottle of wine!!!

Just want people to be prepared!

Sorry if I misled anyone into thinking that you could eat for the price of a counterservice meal. I was thinking more in line of going out to a nice dinner like the Yactman's Steakhouse or California Grill. So yes, dinner is definately over the century mark. You have to remember that Atlantis is a huge tourist spot, even for those not staying on site. Huge numbers of tourists come off the cruise ships, and they have all paid an excursion fee just for walking around the hotel, and if they want to go swimming, many have paid even more$$. That being said, the hotel is trying to make even more money, hence your overpriced grapes. We found eating lunch over at the Harborside poolside resaturant was cheaper than over at the main pool. Then we would go out to a nice dinner. They also had awesome buffet meals. We had one dinner buffet and one breakfast buffet that were super!!!!! And since we were in our timeshare, we did some light cooking right there. PS. We also had Dominos delivered!!!! DS loved it.

One of the food stands at the pools has a lunch special for a family of four. I think its 4 hamburgers, fries and drinks for $25-$30. There is now a Johnny Rockets that has opened up at the marina shops and several other places to eat across the street from Atlantis.

Go to the tug2 website. There is lots of information over there. The Atlantis is a Starwood property. You need to go to the hotel based forum. That is where the Starwood owners hang out. They can and will answer all of your Atlantis Questions.

Funny thing, there are members there that want to trade to DVC with no luck. Here there are DVC members wanting Harborside with no luck.

Thanks. I will definitely do that.
