They do have day rooms available although they do not advertise them. I don't think you can book them ahead of time you just ask when you arrive at Atlantis. I'm sure someone on here can give you the price. You can book a regular room ahead of time w/ a travel agency or Atlantis directly and not stay there, just use it for the day you are in Nassau. That seems like a really expensive excursion to me, though. I believe that you get 4 wrist bands for each room booked.

The hotel across the street (someone, help w/name, please) has an agreement w/ Atlantis that their guests can use the pools. They also have some day rooms available and again, you get 4 wrist bands. I'm sure their prices are much more reasonable.

You cannot use the pools or waterslides without being a guest at the hotels.

dtheboys,
There are a few threads with more info on Atlantis.

Is called Comfort Suites. When you book a room here you also will have use of the facilities of the Atlantis. However, I don't believe they offer day rooms.

The comfort suites does not have day rooms. I called them directly in the Bahmas prior to our cruise to inquire. There was someone there who offered them with the hotel, but they evidently got fired because thiis wasn't supposed to be done.
We booked a day room at the Atlantis while on our 1/5/03 cruise. I had also called them directly prior to leaving the states as the 800 number knew nothing about this practice. The Atlantis told me that they do day rooms if they are available. The only way to book them was by calling the hotel that same day and asking for reservations and the day room. I called from the ship once in port, the call cost about $12. I booked my room with my credit card and it was ready upon arrival. With the day room you can have 5 people, unlike booking regular room with them. It was $200 for the Coral tower and $250 for the royal tower. This didn't include the energy surcharge, taxes, maid surcharge, etc. All in all, it was a very expensive day, but worthwhile.

We've booked a room at Comfort Suites for $148.50 plus fees which will allow us to use the Atlantis facilities. This is legit, although I've done it before paying less to a now former employee for vouchers. You get vouchers that you take over to Atlantis and trade in for wristbands which you need to have the run of the place. We leave the ship first thing in the morning and stay all day. While it's a little pricey for a room we never even visit, given the cost of excursions and what I'm likely to spend on any other day on the cruise or at WDW, I consider it money well spent. Atlantis is a fabulous place, and the Dig (aquarium) is very neat, particularly if you walk through it by yourself.
